My lil baby's birthday was coming up, and she is always mentioning how she loves Le Labo so I thought I'd get her a little something from there.
I made the 6 block walk and entered into one of the best curated vibes I have seen in a long time. They nailed the "we looked like we didn't try hard, but obviously we tried hard" vintage living room like decor. Smells like heaven in here too.
In comparison, I also walked into a Diptyque and nearly fell to my knees due to the amalgamation of smells that hit my nostrils right when I opened that door. They're doing the most in Diptyque.
I thought to myself "eh I'll get her a candle, should be like $30-40 for a nice one." I smelled a couple, and decided on the Petit Grain 21 because it smelled like what the angels who greet you at the gates of heaven must smell like.
Bruh. When that normal sized candle rang up at $91.46...I felt like a spinning back elbow from Jon Jones had just landed clean right on my temple.
I stood there at the register, my equilibrium thrown off, thinking "Do I back out now? That would look crazy though... but you know what else is crazy? 90 hots for a damn CANDLE."
The "my baby is worth it" part of my brain ended up winning out, so I swallowed my pride and ego, and swiped my chase card. What was I gonna do? Go back into Diptyque? I'd need a gas mask for that.
Shoutout to my boy Chris working the front though, he was hella cool. Great customer service in here. Realistically, I should have checked the candle price before I brought it up to the register. This ones on me.

Unfortunately the perfume itself doesn’t live up to the hype and isn’t worth the money. It doesn’t last at all and is literally completely gone after a short amount of time, my mum and a colleague of mine has the same issue (with different perfumes from LeLabo). A perfume that is so pricey should smell great for a long time after applying and not only for an hour. Great store, bad product.
I went to this particular location today, my first time at a LeLabo store and the first time smelling their unique and mesmerizing perfumes. I had such a good experience that I must write a review about it. First of all, the gentleman who helped me out was so patient with me, he guided me through every single scent and helped me finding “the one”. He wasn’t pushy, he was super friendly and knowledgeable. It was honestly the perfect experience for me and we ended up finding exactly what I was looking for. I am already in love with my new perfume. Thank...
Read moreLe Labo, I was recommended to this place from a friend where they advised me that they have some unique collection of scent I might like. They’re main ingredient splits between citrus, wood and flower. At first, I didn’t know exactly what type of scent I preferred so I advised the staff that I would like something that’s lighter than stronger. He was confused to what I was looking for. Luckily, he was nice to explain the ingredients and type of scents I could choose from. I found out that it was something more than just light and strong scent. But I found myself liking the scent of a flower based cologne. He kindly asked my name and started to create the product after I ordered. My name was on my product and also advised me that I’ll get 20% discount to refill the same scent when I bring it back. Overall, I had a respectful and peaceful moment while I was at the store. I strongly recommend to those who are still lost in finding...
