Here is some info. I have dark skin. I have very sensitive skin. Sensitive for hyper pigmentation ingrown hair. I was very hairy and had strawberry skin. Well that was before Lana removed it all in 2011. I took six months for research to make appointment with all the big derma offices in nyc. I would never just trust a small salon. it was extremely expensive 2.a person I waited 3 months to see. She is one off the celebrity derma doctors specialist in black skin in nyc. unfortunately she burned me when she was doing patch test.

After that I was more open to try a unconventional way. Lana is better then most derma doctors because this is her specialty. Even skin treatment was better then other. I'm not a easy person to be in pressed. You have to know your s@#t, But lana is special. She has a six sens for skin and what will work for you. She takes her time, and give great advice to get the best results. She Never up-sels.

When I found Lana true yelp reviews and did my first test it was perfect no burns. Great service. I lived in Brooklyn at the time, and would travel a hour each way to see her on the train. Well let me say, that is dedication for me, but so worth it.

See below my laser experience with the amazing Lana. I wanted to give you some contax.

After the first 2 session on my entire body. Full legs, Brazilian, underarms and arms. I noticed my hair became baby hairs.. By my 3 session most off my hair was gon. Instead of waiting every 6/8 weeks. we waited a bit longer every 10 weeks. By my 5 session 90% hair free. My skin cleared up. I could not believe it. I never new I could have amazing skin. I was Don in little under a year. I went back after 2 years for a touch up for my underarms and bikini. Just because I like to not have any hair not even baby hairs. My bikini area was stubborn after I took my iud out and came back after being hair free for 5 years. So I started again with my bikik area. But my legs that use to be hairy got last summer there first touch up after 7 years. With really hardly any hair. Just light baby hairs where coming back on my upper back legs.

Because I don't live in nyc anymore I go see Lana when I'm in town. My bikiki area is not as ideal as before That is because I can't do a full treatment with her anymore. The brakes in between are too long. But it's still 60% less hair and not everywhere came back just some patches.

I advice everyone to laser it will save your skin. Lana is the best person in nyc to do so, with the best machine on the market for black skin and last but not least so affordable. I wanted to write a long review, because a review helped me back 9 years ago. First off I wanna say I have sensitive skin and that I am also overly dramatic .. The pain isn’t as bad as I made it seem; I went in for laser hair removal and was expecting the worse.. And it’s the total opposite, I realized that when I tense up is when it becomes painful to me. But when I relax the pain is not as bad as I make it seem.. I know it’s all in my mind and I just keep telling myself to relax. It’s so funny because when I do relax I’m almost embarrassed of how much I was moving around lol.

Lana is surely Heaven sent, she made me feel very comfortable and safe.. I’m so thankful for her. And thankful for her patience with me. She provides exceptional customer service and explains everything and open to dialogue. You know when someone loves what they do for a living and is not in it solely for the money, that’s Lana. She shows her love for what she does in how excited and happy she gets when she talks about her work and the service she provides. After my first laser with Lana I did notice a major difference in my hair growth and it was very minimal.. I couldn’t believe it!! I should have went to Lana years ago! The person I went to before was not knowledgeable and did not use a modernized laser machine. You have to trust the process and go with someone (obviously Lana) who uses the best laser equipment and knows the science behind it. This was my second session and I’m looking forward to many more because it gets easier for me. And also did I mention that the texture of my skin improved tremendously , it’s so smooth (like butter baby). Thank you again Lana for making my biggest insecurities go away!! I never leave reviews for companies, but the professional experience and the pain free laser hair removal that I got from SoLana Laser was phenomenal, and prompted me to write my first review operant (yay). Never have i felt my skin so smooth, radiant, and bump free. So long are the day where I had to carry my razor, shaving cream, after shave, ever again. Omg and i cannot even begin to explain how happy and care free i am when I’m on vacation in the middle of winter and don’t have to shave at all. Not even one little bit. Lana is very sweet, reassuring, and extremely professional. I was nervous at first to have laser done, but all of my worries were zapped away (haha) as soon as I met Lana. It’s only been a few sessions and my hair has dramatically reduced.

The place is beautiful and clean, Lana is extremely professional, and most importantly … i NEVER have to shave again!
