Wheelchair accessible entrance on 1st avenue for those that may need it . Really appreciate that they offer a 5:30 pm Sunday service . Fr Mathers gives great homilies and I love the way he celebrates mass. He is a caring pastor as well. His cheerfulness is infectious. I go out of my way to attend the 7 am daily mass at St. John the Evangelist. It is all about Fr Mathers and the liturgy, however. It's not a particularly beautiful church. It's carved out of a corner of an office building. Go for the main event and not for the...
