statue of Liberty Boat — Local services in New York

Security checkpoint folk are crazy rude. This one lady told me to remove my hat and I said "my hat?" And she got the fattest attitude and screamed "YOU HEARD ME!" Acting like she was gonna jump over and beat me up. That was my first time there and I was just confused why I needed to remove my hat. I didn't need the New York tough girl attitude. Seriously, they treat you like criminals and scream at everyone for ridiculous stuff. She must've hated her job or something but watch out for her. Didn't get a name but god forbid you seem confused, she'll fight you and be completely disrespectful. Every one of them were just screaming and being absolute A-Holes...

What a bad experience! Booked and paid for myself and familly. Came to the boat site where the security told me that it will be no boat today all canceled please call the company for refund. When I called the guy said tour will resume at 4 pm and he can book up for that time. IAsked him to proceed and drove back to the boat spot where I met tne same security women again and she felt sorry because this boat company knew that no boat will be scheduled today ane they keep sending people to the boat site. A necessary part of visiting the Statue of Liberty, no other way to get to the island. The prices are okay, the boats were easy to navigate and find a spot to stand or sit. The views from the boat were great. The on/off loading was pretty slow, felt like being herded like cattle a little bit. It was better when we stayed near the exit on the boat so we didn't have to wait so long to get off. Wish they had more than one door to load and unload or a bigger one out the back like a ferry. Just be ready to wait in lines and be told over and over to...
