My partner and I lived in the building in 22/23. It’s a beautiful building with a stunning Manhattan view, central air system, and great amenities. F train is 10-15 min walk away, whereas the bus stop is literally outside the building. The maintenance or management requests were usually addressed within 1-3 business days. Personally, we never had issues with the management, maybe we never had to address anything particular with the management during the lease time. So not really sure about how their attitude was. But the maintenance and cleaning staff were always friendly and polite.

Some downsides were mostly due to a few ignorant residents. While we had some very lovely long-term residents, some were just overly ignorant. For example, our neighbor was a heavy marijuana smoker young couple, so we would smell their marijuana smoke in our bathroom on a daily basis which overtime became frustrating. Also, majority of the residents owned dogs, and often times some of them would get lazy and let the dogs poop in the hallway on our floor and the entire floor would smell like dog poop for days, or on the rooftop which was just plain disgusting in many ways.

Some residents didn’t clean up after themselves in the rooftop amenities area after throwing parties and get together. Management used to put up notes and messages encouraging residents to clean up after themselves and follow the community rules, but many just didn’t follow the rules.

Overall, we enjoyed living at Stella....

I am one of the first residents to move into this brand new building and I was excited about living here until I realized, after only living here for a few days, that I moved into an active construction site with constant drilling and hammering happening on all sides of my unit everyday of the week and sometimes as early as 7:30 in the morning. We were not told that any construction was still occurring in the building upon touring or prior to signing our lease. We have sent numerous emails and complaints to our building management which continue to fall on deaf ears. They have gaslit us the entire time regarding our ability to hear constant construction noise and refuse to give us even a ballpark estimate as to when the construction will be finished, which makes me believe that there is absolutely no end in sight. We have lived in the building for a month now and these loud and disruptive sounds have made working from home a nightmare. Building management now completely ignores us whenever we have issues or questions. DO NOT LIVE HERE unless you want to pay overpriced rent prices to live in this construction site where the residents are continually ignored and...

I wish zero stars were an option, I called to get availability on an apartment and was instantly attacked by Robin the moment she answered the phone. I called about 20 minutes before closing and she proceeded to yell at me and tell me that I had “some nerve” calling so close to closing. I cannot believe how nasty she was. After this encounter, I’m sure I dodged a huge bullet. Would not recommend! Reaching out to higher management and will update this post...
