Sun Vin Grocery Store — Local services in New York

I'm sure you'll find plenty of other Asian grocery stores in Chinatown. We prefer this one because it's extremely well lit and clean. The best deals can be found in the frozen section. If you have have steamer you MUST get the frozen shu mai and various dumplings that are super inexpensive! It's probably silly, but we also grab a variety of SPAM to mix it into our fried rice.

Oh and their variety of kitchen supplies, dishes and utensils is really helpful too. You can easily supplement your everyday stuff with their equipment. Did I mention that's inexpensive too? :-)

This is my go to quick grocery because they have the basics that I need and the best part - never too busy or crowded. It's a small grocery, so the selection is limited. Prices are decent. They don't really buy have produce here, but a good for basics and for snacks. Unlike some of the other markets in the area, it's also brightly lit, so generally, a comfortable and relaxed shopping experience. Can't say that about too many...
