I already love Sundays Studio UES and wish there was one by me back in LA!

I had a regular Gel mani & Deep Hydration pedi this morning and had a great experience. I didn't catch the manager's name (think it may be Ty who another reviewer mentioned), but he was so thoughtful and attentive. Any detail you could think of, he was already ahead of you (love that). Really great service from the jump with him alone! He connected with me throughout my time in the salon so I always felt taken care of & attended to.

The space is ethereal and very clean. My technician, Sherry, was so kind and did an amazing job on my nails. Not everyone can get the almond shape done well on natural nails and Sherry gave me the best shape from any tech I've ever gone to (not an exaggeration). It was symmetrical and soft (some techs leave the point a little too pointy, and Sherry did just the right amount). It left my nail beds looking long & lean (sadly I have small nail beds so I always desire the longer, pointy look -- and Sherry, quite literally, nailed it!). I can't stop staring at my nails, I'm SO happy.

As someone else mentioned, I wish the chairs were sliiiiightly cozier (they aren't bad at all, and are definitely still comfortable, but there's something about those super squishy salon massage chairs that helps you sink in and relax). That said, I understand it's probably hard to keep their beautiful aesthetic going by having the eye sore of those big dark brown chairs in there.

I loved the addition of the guided meditation -- actually much better than I expected. It was a nice reminder to breathe and relax my body instead of focus on the salon environment. It reminded me to sink in, get back into my body and out of my mind, and enjoy the experience.

All in all -- 10/10 experience and will plan to return as soon as I'm back in town!

(PS: I was accompanied by my uncle who LOVED his pedicure and additional massages. He's pretty picky and the first to mention when he doesn't like something -- and he was so impressed & really enjoyed his experience/time there. Definitely a great place to bring men who like...

I may have found my go-to mani place! It was my second time here. My first visit was to have a gel French mani. My second visit was to have it removed and do a regular manicure.

I scheduled my appointment at 3:30pm, but I was in the area early and dropped by just in case they had someone available. And they were able to accommodate me before 3:00pm!

Tsering was the assigned staff to work on my nails. I picked out my nail color: something neutral/nude for a “clean girl aesthetic”. What I liked so much about how they do the gel removal was that they didn’t really use that “tool” or equipment that’s like supposed to take off the gel (sorry, I don’t know what to call it haha). They used foil and then placed my hand in warm towels. Once the towels were removed, the gel peeled off and Tsering started to work on removing the rest of the polish. She then started to clean my nails, etc.

Tsering did so well, that I did not continue with having polish put on! She buffed my nails to bring out some natural shine, and that was it! I was so happy because I felt like my nails aren’t brittle after the gel polish application and the removal. My nails look so healthy and clean!

Note: I’ve been so hesitant to do gel polish since last year because my nails were cracking and felt so brittle. 😖😣 And maybe it was because of how it was applied and how it was removed. So, it was nice to experience how Sundays does things. Will book...

Clean and bright space, but unfortunately not very pleasant experience. I am pregnant and my friend recommended this place for non-toxic manicure. I made a reservation for signature mani and pedi($96+tip) before valentine’s day as a treat to myself however it was a mistake. Pedi was okay it took 40 minutes with a nice massage. The chair was not very comfortable for pedicure tho especially when you are pregnant and they did not seem to care. Manicure was a huge disappointment. it chipped right after I left there. Then I went back to the salon and they did not even say sorry and told me to sit to redone the ones that ruined. However, I chose another color since tech said the darker colors are risky?! I ended up getting silver color which I have ever done before and it did not stay longer either(pic at the end of the day)…Also, I want special care for my cuticles they said the tech is very good at that but it was exactly the same I got on a regular basis for half of the price..! Sorry for the bad review but my day was ruined by spending extra 30 minutes and not getting...
