Sunrise Medical Laboratories — Local services in New York

Went to the Lab on 99street and 4th ave and it was closed ( showing open in google map) checked for the closest lab location and showed me the 61st street and 11 ave opened till 1:30 pm ... Arrived 5 min past 12:00 pm were the door still open and nurses still inside working ... the nurse did not want to take me because it already passed 12 ... and said she should be at home and the 2 min blood taking time means another hour work for her ... I explain to her the time posted on google map for closing is 1:30 pm and she said that is not her problem ... waisted 2 hours traveling to the 2 labs and at the end no service while the door is still open ... tried calling the nurse’s supervisor twice but did not pick up ...very bad customer service and if I just checked the reviews before I go ... this Lab won’t...

I'm the type of person to always look at reviews before I go somewhere and when I saw these reviews, I'm like damnn I'm screwed cause this one is closest to my house. I took the risk anyways, I went in and I signed in, waited for like 5 mins before I was told to go in, the guy who took my blood was a sweetheart and I was done in 10 mins. I guess everyone has different experiences because they were all nice. I was expecting to have the same experience but no, I mean they're humans so they're not gonna be robots and greet us with hugs and kisses. There was no attitude, the receptionist asked for my paper, my I.D, and Insurance and that's it. I went on a Friday morning so there was only like 2 people waiting. I’m aware that due to COVID there should be more patience in the medical practice, but I’d advise to go elsewhere. There are listed as closing at 4:30 on the weekdays, however their door now says 4PM. I showed up around 3:30 and they wouldn’t take me. They said they take the last appointment at 3:30, which I wish they would post. The sign on the door says 4 and right below it it explicitly says we take patients right up until close. The next day I called the phone line repeatedly to make sure they were indeed open and accepting patients. I never got an answer and when I arrived they told me that their phones do not work.
