Prince Tea House — Restaurant in New York

I went to this location for a planned bridal shower for a good friend. We had booked the back room for our party and was allotted 2 hours. We were allowed to decorate, be as loud as we wanted, and play our bridal games. The store was quaint, nicely decorated, and super cute. It's rather small, so not a good place for large groups of more than 4 people to just pop in for tea. It's usually very crowded and has a wait. The price is high due to all their gorgeous plates, teapots, specialty teas, and tiny tea party style desserts. The store is decorated based on the holiday season and makes for a nice photo. It's a cute location for a nice chat with a girlfriend or two but definitely wouldn't count on a table to fit more than 4 people or a party of 4 or more to be seated promptly or comfortably. The service is slow and they do seem short staffed, but it's an afternoon tea place... so do not expect fast service, it's more for a leisurely dine experience. I have no complaints over the food, everything we ordered was delicious! I absolutely loved my Lavendar Tea that came with it's own warming station! Warm tea at the perfect temperature for the entire party. I would recommend this place for Baby Showers and Bridal Showers...

The tea selection is extensive and impressive, featuring a wide variety of flavors that cater to every taste. My personal favorite is the Earl Grey Oolong tea – it's always brewed to perfection and has the most delightful aroma. The food menu is equally delightful, with a range of delicious desserts and light bites that complement the teas perfectly. The fried snacks here always make me happy; they're crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive.

The staff at Prince Tea House are always welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The attention to detail in both the decor and the presentation of food and drinks makes every visit feel special.

I've been coming here for years, and I often joke that I should get a sponsorship for how frequently I recommend this place to everyone I know! Whether you're a tea enthusiast or just looking for a lovely place to unwind, Prince Tea House is definitely worth a visit. Five stars...

Been at this location three times and although I love Prince Tea House, the service here is a mess. Had tea time here once and the tea set was nice. It was for my friends bday and she loved the set. Service was average. Last time we were here, we only sat down for not even a min and asked us what we want. Dude, we just sat and havent scanned and looked at the menu yet. When we did ordered and food, drink came, about ever 5-10 mins the waitresses keep asking how we are doing. It got so annoying to a point that we felt we were being rushed out. There were plenty of tables opened. I had to ask why are you rushing us. That’s when they stopped. Before we asked for the bill, the bill came inside a wooden box and we were like wth we didnt ask for the check. We left the box there and continued to talk. Seriously! Wth is wrong with them. When we did look at the check, the check wasnt even for our table -.- I dont know what these waitresses are doing because they CLEARLY arent trained well. I love PTH but this location is the worst. Sorry...
