Trixie’s is the best! We’ve been coming here for 8+ years and really appreciate having this gem in the neighborhood. The owner is so knowledgeable and has never steered us wrong, always has helpful advice on products and referrals for local groomers or trainers. We have 2 cats and a dog so we’re here a lot. The prices are fair and the selection of foods are quite diverse for a shop with a somewhat compact space. So cool that they deliver, too! When Covid first hit and it was unknown what kind of access to shops would be permitted, the inventory was getting wiped out and the owner made sure to help us stock up on good pet food appropriate for our dog who has allergies. Horrible customer service. I went there with my dog, in a very rainy day, both wet and angry, looking for fresh and dry treats that call my attention. I was asked by an old man if I was looking for something in particular, I said I wanted to take a look at the fridge, he directed me. I went there, couldn’t find anything interesting, so I went to see dry treats. And again, I was questioned by this old man, in a horrible and very rude way : ARE-you-LOOKING-for-something-IN-particular? What kind of customer service is this? Can’t I just enter and take a look to see if something calls my attention? If having something in particular in mind is a requirement to enter to your store, please post it outside. Nice pet store. Kind of small but nice. Fully stocked and very clean. They have an array of products but cover everything you need and with nice things; not just there to say “well we have one”. You can tell they care and pick nice products people and their pets would like. Staff was helpful and expediting the process. Found what I came in there for and showed where to find it. They were nice. As they were also gifts for a friends pet I can report that both the cat and dog loved their respective toys more then the owners bought toys so their selection here speaks to that 😄 they know what pets like!
