Tuckernuck NYC — Local services in New York

Eeeek, I'm not even sure where to begin. I guess the first thing you notice is there's no rhyme or reason to how things are laid out, and then you're hit with blasts of air from giant fans every twenty feet. It smelled a bit musty, things were rather wrinkly, it was very hard to find sizes on things, and when you did find them, there were only very small or very large sizes. They had to take something from someone else's dressing room and hand it me, which felt pretty weird. There are no petite sizes, but I found a cropped top that was soft so I decided I'd purchase it. An older white woman agreed to help me check out. She said she needed my name and email in order for me to purchase it so I proceeded to give her my name, but she couldn't hear me, perhaps because of the giant fan blowing in my face, but she blamed it on my ear bud (which wasn't playing anything) and very impatiently and rudely said, do you have time for this? My email is rather difficult so I said, yes, but do you need my email, and she snapped back, well do you want to check out? Because this is what you'll need to do.. I was so excited to check out the new Tuckernuk store in NYC. I am a fan of the clothing line, own several dresses, and have been to the DC location on a number of occasions. While the store was visually appealing the customer service was less than desirable. My partner and I walked in on a Thursday afternoon, there may have been two or three other guests but it was not particularly busy. After several laps around the store looking at items, several of which were of interest, we decided to leave. Not one person working in the store even acknowledged us. Not even a hello. We were completely ignored from start to finish. I picked up a few items, looked around for help, and not once did someone even acknowledge us. Overall, a great shopping experience! The store is stunning. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Perrin helped us and she was lovely! The selection was great and I ended up buying way more than I should have haha.

My only critique is that several items needed a good steaming. It’s like they were taken out of the box and hung right away. With this caliber of store I would...
