I am truly disappointed by this, and only wish I had spoken up when I had the chance to. I was taken into my wax room and begun to undress in preparation for my wax. Outside the door I heard a male voice, but trusted that the woman who was waxing me would wait for this man to leave before she opened the door to me waiting on the bed, undressed. To my surprise, not only did she widely open the door whilst he was outside, but he was also looking into the room. I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. The lady was kind but acted as if she was in a hurry, and during the entire treatment, all I could focus on was what took place when she opened the door. Make sure you ask to get a tour of their lab where the wax is kept even if that means they prepare the wax in front of your very own eyes before entering the private room. Their policy is no double dipping and every wax is newly prepared for each client, make sure that they are actually following protocol. I was there in October of 2018 and contracted a Staph Infection which I'm still under medical care for still to this very day. Let me tell you, it can be a experience that you do not want to have, because of the pain. But the UniK wax is different than other waxes. Its easier on the skin and the pain is definitely less. Shital who is my service person has a technique that even lessen the extent of the pain with the rip and hold/press technique that she uses. She is such a gentle soul and it comes out in her personality making you feel extraordinarily comfortable. I have used other service ladies there and she is frankly the best.
