Stupendous service!!!! every single time !!! I’ve been coming to unik wax studio for 9 years now, and I’ve never had any issues , in fact my skin has never been better so smooth and clean no scars .

First the front desk is wonderful Raywinder is so sweet and welcoming when you arrive she’s very attentive, very knowledgeable on her services provides excellent customer service and is always willing to fit you in at your convenience, she’s very accommodating and flexible with her clients . Always greets with a smile and is always very mindful when it comes to your after service satisfaction. Aliya is the BEST waxer in the studio, I say this because I’m not picky and I’ve tried multiple waxers and while they are all very well trained and experienced at their job for me Aliya gives me the most painless seamless wax I’ve ever received, with her I always leave 100% confident that my wax will last more than the usual 6 weeks.. please do not hesitate to visit Unik wax studio on Lexington at 55th these ladies will get you right for the right price and worth every penny. I haven’t waxed in ages so being that I work in the area I did my search and came across UNI K wax. I had Sonam for a bikini wax who was a wonderful technician and I had a great experience with her, she was very professional and kind but I am not happy with the front desk. I saw that they had a first time client 50% off special and I called to confirm this. She told me yes for local residents I live in NYC and work in NYC so I booked. I had a last minute work emergency so I had to rebook for a later time , was told they couldn’t reschedule me without charging me $25. Fine, but to top it off when I finished my service I was told they weren’t gonna honor the discount being that it specifically was for “Manhattan residents only”. I wish I was told that on the phone before booking. Communication is key. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back due to the poor communication and the way she handled...

I booked an appointment with a friend at this Uni K location, there’s no parking in that area due to the construction going on and and it’s located in a very busy street. if you’re running late, they don’t answer the phone which makes it convenient for them to charge the $25 fee. There should absolutely be a grace period. especially when you’re calling multiple times and no one answers.

The receptionist at the front desk was rude. Instead of directly communicating with me, she relayed messages to the waxer and spent more time gossiping than assisting customers. As a first-time client, I felt unwelcome from the start.

The waxer didn’t prepare properly no powder, no cooling gel, and the service felt rushed. The hair removal was incomplete, and the overall experience lacked professionalism and care.
