Yupo Health is a fantastic medical facility!!!!!!
Eva Huang continues to be a tremendous help as a practitioner! She provides excellent advice and continues to hire superior staff! When I had Covid-19, she gave me herbs and advice on how to get better. She followed up with me and had me keep her informed, at each step of my recovery. When I followed her advice, I saw tremendous improvements in my health. Her advice may have saved my life! I say this because I knew of two patients my age, with Covid-19 infections. They they did not know Eva and now, they are in an eternal place of peace. Everyone wants to go to Heaven, but we'd prefer to wait until old age. Thanks to Eva and my other medical professionals, I will! She also continues to help me tremendously with orthopedic issues and in preventing future infections!
Wendy, Joanne and the other massage therapists are excellent, personable, efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, caring, ambitious and great friends to the patients! After a therapeutic session of acupressure and cupping, I feel rejuvenated, healthy and younger!
The new physical therapist, Sal, is a thorough, caring, gentle, knowledgeable, personable, intelligent and helpful physical therapist! I have learned so much from her, especially about neck health and posture! I continue to make excellent progress under her care. In the past, Eva hired a new Physical Therapist named Poojah. I tried many Physical Therapists, and did not think a new person could give me any new helpful advice, regarding plantar fasciitis. Poojah's advice proved this to be wrong. She told me to soak my foot in warm water for 20 seconds, followed by cold for 10 seconds and to repeat these sets seven time a day. The treatment was most therapeutic. She also provided treatments at Yupo Health which were very beneficiaI. I followed her advice and received treatment from her for weeks. Jessica, a masseuse, works very hard to loosen tight spots and relieve pain and stiffness. My back, foot and elbow felt much better after the treatment she provided. She is strong and focused, as well as being polite, efficient, personable and professional. Nick is another new Physical Therapist at Yupo and he provided excellent advice and treatments. He helped me to make tremendous gains, as well. Both of these medical people, Poojah and Nick are very diligent, personable, skilled and highly-effective practitioners. I went to see my Podiatrist, recently, who is the most highly-recommended doctor in his field in all of Bergen County, NJ, Dr. Emmanuel Haber, and he examined my foot. He said, "Whatever you are doing, it is working! It is a miracle!" The reason he said this is that the mass growing on my foot shrank by about 70% in size, in just two months. I was told by another doctor that I may need surgery to remove the mass, but with the reduction in size, after the treatment at Yupo Health and the exercises prescribed by Poojah and Nick, this will not be necessary. They recently recommended Sal, when they were away. Sal is very thorough, helpful, patient, personable, kind, hard-working and professional. After only two visits, she has been very positive. Eva is an excellent acupuncturist who truly cares for her patients. Jonathan is an excellent physical therapist who also truly cares for people. Wendy and Vivian recently worked on my back, and provided acupressure that was extremely therapeutic. They both are excellent in how they provide treatment. All of these medical people are very diligent, personable, skilled and highly effective as a practitioners. Yupo Health is a fantastic medical facility and...
Read moreA practicing massage therapist for 25 years, i scheduled a session here, requesting that the therapist wear a mask. Covid is spiking again in the city, people all around me are sick again, and as an lmt myself who works closely with vulnerable clients and have an autoimmune disorder myself, I could not imagine this would be a problem. Why anyone in client services would refuse this request- especially when the client relaxing is a central element to the business- baffles me personally and professionally. It is NEGLIGENT client care and customer service of “zero stars”. Very disappointing to see this happening in NYC and makes me very much question what kinds of cleaning protocols are in place and what other client requests would be rejected. I didn’t ask that everyone in the office put on a mask. I asked that the therapist who would be close to my body and face wear one. I received a call back that the business was unable to mandate that request. I under and I do NOT understand why any one in our profession would say no.. unless they are covid deniers, which seems to be the case. I’m grateful I asked and likely dodged a bullet. Would steer clear of this place if at all concerned about health...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about Eva & Yupo Health. I've been going to Eva for over a year now to treat ongoing side effects from cancer treatment & medications — and she's the most gifted acupuncturist I've ever been treated by. She's generous with her time and most importantly, intuitive and skilled when it comes to administering a customized treatment plan (in my case, it has changed many times over as my side effects have changed over the year). I've gone to acupuncturists in the past, but have never gotten real results (and felt physical improvements) until I started seeing Eva.
I always feel amazing coming out of a session with Eva, and I truly trust her to work her magic. When I first came to her a year ago, I had only intended to come for a few months until my symptoms eased up — and now I can't imagine not seeing her weekly.
I also see Jessica for massages (who I've been going to for years) & she is one of the most exceptional masseuses I've ever gone to. She gives an incredible acupressure massage (very strong pressure and deep tissue, if that's your thing) and is skilled at finding your...
