I've been going here for quite some time and easily spent thousands of dollars over the years!! I've spent a LOT of money here because I was trying to support "my people." I was informed that it's black and Jamaican owned and it's in my community so why not?! Depending on who I get, the service can be terrible and they WILL try and rip you off; especially the mixed Asian woman. Everytime I deal with her, she short changes me and tries to avoid giving me my receipt. Today she charged me over $4 extra unnecessarily and tried to have me leave without getting my receipt. I had to wait until they tried to "fix" the machine and then she said the receipt was there the entire time. I got my money back thankfully but what about the other times i may have missed it by not paying attention? I've left without receipt already not knowing this was their practice. I truly hope the owner or some form of management who has power sees this because you just lost a loyal customer. Pay attention customers because they will rip you off if you allow it! This is terrible! They should not try to rip off the folks in the community who are keeping them in business....
Read moreI ordered delivery from them through minibar... the deliver was over an hour late (they said deliver would be between 12-2PM... the deliver guy called me at 3:06PM and said he was downstairs). So the delivery guy refused to come to my apartment and asked me to come downstairs, which I did... and I was no where to be found. I called the store and told them about this... 15 minutes later the delivery guy called again and I told him I wasn’t coming downstairs again because I already tried and couldn’t find him, so I asked him to come upstairs. He said he would. 15 minutes later he called again and said he was still downstairs. He hadn’t come upstairs as he said he would... finally I called the main store and the contacts him, turned out he was on the UWS. I’m on UES. So it took until 3:34 to get my deliver to me, over 1.5 hours late. And they didn’t offer a discount or anything for all of the inconvenience and delay. I won’t order...

I ordered from this store, it was a $50 order in which I was paying a $5 delivery fee, plus a $2 service fee plus tax and tip. They kept my order on hold for 90 minutes because they were out of the item I ordered and were trying to sell me other things, when I agreed to an alternative, 2 minutes later I was told they were out of that and then were sending something else that I didnt really want, when I told the clerk that I wasnt thrilled, but I still wanted my order, instead of trying to make his customer happy, he instead chose to cancel my order.
