Verve Medical Cosmetics — Local services in New York

This place seemed very professional from the outside looking in, webpage and services, but somewhat unusual in its processes. Went to have a procedure done, was placed in a room where an assistant evaluated and discussed my concerns. After some time waiting , Dr. Bracci then did a very brief evaluation, which in my opinion was an attempt to have me spend more than what I could have afforded. Strangest thing, before the product I requested and was familiar with was administered, they offered and alternative which came highly recommended. Being a novice and going on the advice of what "appeared" to be professional opinions in their line of business, I went with it. They also requested payment prior to providing the service, which I found to be a bit odd, but the assistant explained in an attempt to speed up things, they process the transaction while waiting on the doctor to administer. To my surprise, the product that came highly recommended did not yield the results I expected, when compared to what I originally requested and used before. It appears that the product was diluted as the results only lasted a mere two months. I had similar service done at least 2/3 times before at other institutions, and with the product I initially requested, which lasted 5/6 months. Another strange occurrence was the aftercare, which on previous occasions was a strict set of "do's" and "don'ts" after the treatment. The assistant at Verve said this was not necessary, when asked, and I can go about my business as per usual. I would personally recommend that you ask to see the product prior to it being administered, and in its original packaging, even the used product after the procedure is completed. Also, pay for your service after you receive it!! Will not recommend this place and will...

I never write bad reviews for anyone, but Verve, Dr. Bracci and his team deserve this one.... I went to Verve a couple of years ago for laser hair removal and they literally talked me into purchasing a bunch of packages for treatments that would not & did not help. If Dr. Bracci wasn't a doctor, it wouldn't bother me as much, but the very fact that he is, is what infuriates me so much.

These people use an IPL laser which rarely helps for hair removal and then they quickly talk you into purchasing packages so they can take your money up front! It was a waste of precious time and money for something that clearly did not work. They don't care if they burn your skin or don't deliver the proper results because they have you're money already. And if you never come back that's ok too, because they've probably fooled another innocent client into a package already.

These people disgust me and the very fact they're still in business is just appalling! Please don't waste your money here; there are plenty of other places you can go for laser hair removal in the city and you'll actually get the results you're looking for. And definitely don't be comforted by the fact that Dr. Bracci is a doctor, because even after knowing you're not going to see results, he's still going to convince you to get treatments. Save your money, do your research and find a better place...

I don't recommend Verve clinic to anyone. Except for one nurse everybody seemed to be in a terrible rush, no personal interest in me as a person with questions and needs and Dr. Bracci with his 2 min "attention" to me seemed to have "could you make up your mind faster? I have other more important customers to take care of" attitude. The staff member who was suppose to explain me how does Botox work kept telling me the only thing "You just have to try it". As for a new comer that seemed very vague and unreal. But I did it. And, my Botox experiment ended in 2 extra visits after because for some reasons Dr Bracci's work had no results whatsoever. Maybe if he spent at least 5 min with me in the room, the effect would have been better. My third visit was very uncomfortable.

In general, I didn't feel very welcomed at Verve clinic. Yes, they are very professional but if you don't spend a lot of money their professionalism seems fake and you just feel as one of the small cookies in their beauty factory and all that rush and speedy care only becomes frustrating. I understand, that Dr. Bracci does a lot of procedures every day but am I not that important and valued as a customer and person?

I am definitely not going back to Verve clinic and don't recommend...
