I Used to frequent this location a lot for years until 2022 but sadly never found anything I liked but even so always bought something either earrings, a purse, gift etc and must admit I’ve never worn any of my purchases from here except for a fabric daily big bag which I ❤️ but everything looks beautiful in my closet. There used to be a nice young Caucasian tall thin gay guy who was always pleasant and fun who worked here and went above and beyond for me each time I visited which I appreciated 🙏. I stopped visiting this location after their older big African American bald guy asked out of nowhere if I had lost weight which was incredibly rude, unprofessional and surprising as I had only dealt with him once or twice before and we were not friends. I’ve maintained the same weight for the past two decades and believe he was out of line for no apparent reason other than just being rude. I felt humiliated and belittled because I knew it wasn’t an honest exchange and it felt like a personal attack especially in his tone and condensing manner with facial expressions. Vivian Westwood was my favorite designer because I felt she was fabulous in person since I had known her from my LA days in the 90’s but these type of employees tarnish her memory and reputation. There were many times I visited this location and no one was around physically; no one to help or ring me up and I’d have to wait 10/20 minutes for a snooty girl to emerge never being pleasant or professional always making it seem as she didn’t want to be there. I then offered to work their since I lived across the street and could give better customer service but their manager didn’t seem thrilled. Later I informed the same manager about her rude male employee but never received a written apology so never returned and never will. I’m very picky on where I shop and sad Versace is no longer down the street but Louis Vuitton is and they serve me champagne with a smile and Gucci employees are extremely...

I had the most incredible wedding dress shopping experience at Vivienne Westwood New York, thanks to Lauren Rusak. I don’t usually write reviews, but her service truly went above and beyond anything I expected.

I first reached out to Lauren in April 2025 with a last-minute request for a bridal appointment—my wedding was in September 2025, and I didn’t have much time. I was super stressed. Despite her packed schedule, she gave up her lunch break to fit me in within days, ensuring I had enough time. Her knowledge of every style was incredible—she patiently guided me through all the options and never once rushed me. When I ran into a payment issue outside normal hours, Lauren even stayed late to help me finalize everything over the phone. Her dedication was truly impressive.

Later, when I couldn’t pick up my dress on the scheduled date due to an emergency, she once again went out of her way to accommodate me before her vacation. She took time to walk me through how to wear and close the dress properly and helped me find the perfect tailor for alterations.

I visited several high-end bridal stores, but Lauren’s level of care and professionalism made Vivienne Westwood an easy choice. She made me feel understood, supported, and special throughout the entire process. I’ve already recommended her to friends—she’s an absolute gem!

This is written a year and some change after the fact (late may 2024). This is my admiration letter to the beautiful pirate sales rep, while I could have been written off as another tourist (I was) just browsing, I was met we such kindheartedness and understanding. I adore the fashion of vivienne, while I might not come from much means I indulged myself for a new handbag to signify I had achieved a goal and desire of mine. The other reps, while kind, didn’t dive further past my “I’m just looking” statement, and I don’t blame them, one brave sales rep went further. My hero…the very beautiful pirate dressed in black and gold was so kind I still even a year later remember him fondly, he went over budget in such an elegant way I to this day wish I could watch him for a shift to study his ways. The patience he had as he showed me handbags in color ways I adored, and budgeted for, even while I struggled with the weight of a high end purchase for my means is something I will always admire.
