The entrance outside this station is flooded with predatory ticket agents wearing blue or yellow vests, posing as official representatives of Liberty Cruise or other sightseeing companies.
These agents approach you immediately as you exit the subway, ask where you’re going, then quote fake “deals” (in our case, $35 per person). But when you pay by card, you’re charged far more without being shown the total. We were charged $59 per person and handed a rolled-up paper ticket with no itemized breakdown.
When contacted, Liberty Cruise will claim these are third-party agents and say they cannot assist.
