BEWARE!!! PLEASE READ - rarely write reviews but wanted to share my experience.
For my first visit, i had a decent experience, even though the Boss went in and out of the room during my scalp massage (making it less relaxing). They are great at what they do so I did not mind it at the time.
The second time I went with my two family members and we waited for over an hour even after making an appointment…. Not only that, the Boss who was supposed to do the 30 min back massage - again, left the room often to handle the register, and handle a difficult customer. The boss ended up massaging a total of 10 MIN and still charged full priced because “they were busy” and we were understanding of that.
🚩🚩🚩LASTLY - the Boss did not let us tip the other workers directly!!!! Instead, she took the tip and said “she would hand it to them later,” and threw it into her drawer with all the other cash. IMO, THAT IS NOT OK!!
Unfortunately, because of the place’s online clout and popularity, the Boss will take all newcomers for walk-in. Therefore, you may end up waiting even with an appt and she does not care if you stop coming anymore because they will just get “new customers.”
Honestly, I had high hopes for this place because of the great ambiance/massage, but unfortunately, she was disrespecting our time and not appropriately tipping...
Read morein a rush of the last few hours before we leave NYC, my bestie and I want a massage to relax. This place popped up on our search. first of all, the location was hard to find, it’s inside a building on a 3rd floor. the layout of the floor is like you are walking into a asian night market, no direction, you just have to walk all around until you find the place. The place look clean, ok NOT shady. the owner is nice but not speaking much of english. I got a 60mins body massage which was ok and very painful during the session even though i kept asking to be gentle. My friend got a head spa (shampoo version which is currently trendy). My friend enjoyed it and thought that they definitely know what they are doing. here comes the part we both really don’t like. the price for each session was very cheap. it was $38 for body massage and $48 for head spa. but the owner made us pay extra $5-$6 each for tax by paying with credit card. and she would not agree anything less than $20 tip for each session with additional $2 for putting tip on the card. Now, overall the cost we each paid are still reasonable, but we really don’t like the way the owner was haggling with us and how we were not informed that cash is needed for payment at first. we...
Read moreAll I can say is wow! What an incredible experience. After a long, exhausting week in New York for work, I was in serious need of relaxation. I stumbled upon this spa by chance, and I’m so glad I did. From start to finish, everything was absolutely wonderful.
I booked an hour foot massage followed by a one hour hair spa treatment and both were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, the space immaculately clean, and the entire setting made it easy to unwind.
The prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality of service offered. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire visit.
This place is a hidden gem. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and recharge in the city. I’ll definitely be back next time...
