The city of Newark many born here some raised here some left here some stayed here all know Newark is homebase. Newark has a bad reputation yes there is crime what big city doesn't have crime. News will make you think you step out your house you park your car you will be shot and your car stolen. I have been in Newark for 49 years so far lived and work here. There is a lot of new construction areas are changing which is good. Still I remember having cherry, apples, peach, plum and fig trees in some of the neighborhoods.

Newark, is a great city are we NYC no nor do we try like JC & Hoboken does. Newark have neighborhoods as in North Newark, Forest Hill, Down Neck/Ironbound, Ivy Hill, Vailsburg, Weequahic and Downtown. Trust me I might have miss a section or two but we are well diverse city. We have the four major groups in our walls Black, White, Hispanic & Asian LOL that is said in fun. Newark, have white collar, blue collar and retail employment opportunities in it's walls. FBI headquarters, Prudential headquarters, Panasonic North America headquarters are in Newark I am sure many others.

Newark offers a lot you can watch college basketball Seton Hall divison 1 Big East action. 3 time NHL Champs NJ Devils call Newark home. You can check out some nice architecture building like the Main Post Office or City Hall or Public library on Washington St. Do you want to relax at a park Newark has a few Independence, Washington, Military, Vailsburg, Riverfront just to name a few. Now I didn't mention Weequahic nor Branch Brook parks for a reason. Both parks boast Cherry Blossom trees which are great for pictures. Both have a lake that you can fish for trout, catfish, carp, large mouth bass and bluegills.

When you are ready to eat you can find a wide variety of food. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Cuba, Colombian, Ecuadorian, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Brazilian, Portuguese, Italian, Seafood, American, BBQ, Soul food that's just to name a few. Newark has 3 hospitals if needed also host Seton Hall law school, Rutgers U, NJIT, ECC for degrees.

Routes 1&9, 78, 21, 22, 280 & I95 run through Newark. NJ transit, NY/NJ Path can take you from Newark to NY if you like. I mean is Newark the greatest city in NJ no but it's known to be the Biggest City. The Rock, NJPAC, Symphony Hall are just a couple of place to catch a show. Come to Newark for some food, shopping, concerts, sporting events, education and...

The city of Newark extorts its residents with alternate side parking for street cleaning by towing their vehicles but they dont clean the streets. Streets remain filty while residents are forced to pay 150 to get their car. Residents of this city miss work for street cleaning that nebrr happens. Then they line the pockets of companies like B/C towing for them to tell you that they will damage your vehicle when u show up theres. The city just doesnt care about its residence and look for any opportunity to make your life more difficult. Check out Norfolk street there will be human and nonhuman trash scattered about while the city tows peoples cars for...
