First Presbyterian Church — Local services in Newark

I attended a conference at the church. It is very old and historic. The building and courtyard gave you a sense of history. The facility was modern and well kept. In the conference room, there were a lot of outlets, which is a welcome feature in an old building filled with attendees and all their smart phones and laptops. The people working there were friendly. It was easy to find, but it was a bit confusing since they have a banner out side that says "Old First Presbyterian Church." At first I thought I was at the wrong place. There was one problem with the AV. The screen was in front of a big bay of windows that didn't have any way to black them out, so the image on the screen was a bit washed out, even when the lights were turned out...

Shame on you for denying a great business opportunity in the heart of Newark all because you didn't want to be associated with the poor and sick who may use cannabis. Church shouldn't just be for rich people in designer clothes, but time and time again Christians make it a point to push the "others" out. Especially in a place with vulnerable people...
