I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience while shopping for suits. I was in one of the suit sections, holding two items, when a woman approached me and took the items from my hands without asking, saying she would put them in the fitting room for me. I told her I wasn’t ready to try anything on yet, and not everyone chooses to try clothes on in-store, that’s a personal preference. I explained that I was still comparing colors and materials to find the right suit, but she kept insisting and ended up snatching the clothes from me. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I no longer felt free to browse at my own pace. She then told me there were more suits around the store, but I wasn’t allowed to carry the suits from that section elsewhere. That seemed odd and raised red flags for me. I walked over to the Calvin Klein section to continue shopping. After trying on a few items, another associate approached me, asking, ā€œAre you being helped? By who?ā€ I replied that I was already being helped. By this point, it felt clear that the associates were more focused on securing commissions than offering genuine customer service. When I went to check out, the first woman reappeared the one who had taken the suits from my hand and tried again to take the new items I had selected. I told her I’d already tried them on and didn’t need her help. She then admitted they work on commission, which explained the pushy behavior. I let her know that I felt pressured and would be checking out elsewhere. Only then did she back off. I understand working for commission, but there is a right way to approach customers. People are not blind to aggressive or insincere sales tactics. Taking items from someone’s hands without their consent and invading personal space is completely inappropriate. I almost felt like I was doing something wrong, when I wasn’t, she was. On top of that, telling customers they can’t browse the store freely with items from one section to another is misleading and contributes to a negative shopping experience. I clearly moved to many other sections with other items, which slowly proved that she was lying. I don’t remember her name, but she was wearing a green jumpsuit. I also blame corporations like Dillards for this behavior. Pay your employees more.

i’ve been walking around this area for about 45 minutes trying to find someone to return some earrings I bought. No one is at a register, there’s one guy at a register, but he is helping three other people while I stand around. Ughh. when Dillards will update their interior? The carpet has stains from years and years and years and years ago. Such a great anchor store in the shopping center, it would be great if they would update even their bags. Something as simple as that.

nice place where you can find some of the items without going to atlanta, I think Fayetteville, and Peachtree city, deserves to have one like that, you don't need to go to atlanta all the time especially when it's urgent.

I like Dillards as a more upscale Department Store in this area. The shoe section for women has some interesting things as well as a decent selection of semi modern comfort shoes..Vionic,Dansko,Merrell,SAS etc..What stands out to me is the women's Intimates.Again we see Natori,Wacohl,Spanx,Joe Boxer,DKNY and more. There is a nice selection of PJs- casual and otherwise.I have also found when having a sale, they are reasonable.Over the holidays I was able to find things for my husband. They also feature clothes for larger men.For fragrance enthusiasts, they have a Tom Ford boutique..Im not sure when, but there is now a section for Parfums de Marly..This is a sought after luxary brand as well. And they still carry classics that are more commercialized but successful.Calvin Klein,Versace,Ralph Lauren..One can also find Christian Dior and Chanel..I wouldnt say Chanel is manstream nor Dior. However,Tom Ford and Marly might br considered more exclusive? There was a new brand I have not had a chance to try.I will update when I do so.My backround is in Cosmetics with specialty in Fragrance 20 yrs+. I think of it like wine in a way? It can have immense history and presence.Rich in culture and expression. However, some find great satisfaction in simple body sprays from Bath and Body or a brand of their choice.A story for another day! Lastly,I observed an upgrade in Eyewear.I cannot say when this happened but noticed a section for Prada,Versace, etcFrames and Sunglasses.. Obviously, there is more to this store that I have not experieced but hope to..As a footnote,I was there to return a pair of jeans from the holiday.(With receipt and never worn).Because it was past 90 days I was issued a store credit.I thought with holidays it was a year grace period? Either way,the salesperson was nice and it was an easy transaction.Nothing more uncomfortable returning with someone who isnt happy about it.Stores cannot take back everything-I understand.Grace with this situation is a deal breaker for success in customer service.Nordstrom made this their trademark as does Chic-Filet with their,"My Pleasure"..I so love that.It makes my day to hear acknowledgement and...

My daughter and I were shopping in women’s apparel and after being helped by a lovely helpful person Barbara for an hour we were approached by Jinny or Ginny and she decided we were then her customers and followed us and told us we had to come to her and even went in our dressing area which was so over the top and said come to her. We Were hiding from her which is utterly ridiculous. When she saw us pay from a lovely person named Sharice, she yelled across the room for everyone to hear that Sharice stole her customer. I said no she didn’t and tried to explain, but I shouldn’t have had to explain anything to her. She was ridiculously over the top aggressive. we can spend our money anywhere in the world, and we chose to go in there and she ruined our experience and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. A very nice lady in the Clinique area gave us Molly the manager of the mall’s number. Molly she said they all need to be open to feedback well this was far more than feedback. She chased us down, yelled that the other employees stole us even and came in our dressing area she ruined our experience. She never once said I’m sorry that you had a bad experience. Please come back. Nothing just that they needed to be open to feedback good or bad. We will not go back there. we will definitely tell everyone that we know about this terrible experience and how Mollie the manager handled it. Kudos to Barbara...
