Poke City — Restaurant in Newnan

I love this place and I usually always come here with my fiancé . Today I was ordering the same thing we always get and a new employee was there . Maybe of Indian decent ( I don’t want to be vague and rude if not) but she gave a RBF badly and barely said anything along the lines of “hey welcome” nothing . As im ordering and telling her what I’d like im saying things like may I have some of this or please a little extra sauce on this one for my fiancé . The whole time she’s giving me like a dirty look. Then when I paid for the food she started to put covers on them before asking if I wanted it for her or to go. I also told her I’d like ONE smoothie and she gave me two and I think also charged me . I didn’t look that was my fault . Anyways . I thought nothing of it while we ate inside but EVERY. OTHER. PERSON. That came into the door she gave them excellent customer Service and even smiled at them and talked to them. I gave her no reason for her to be rude to me except walk into the door . If it is because I am gay then that is another story. But she was rude and ruined this...

I use to love comming here. Food was great and great portions. Well I went back today and I will never go back. I got a medium size bowl and asked for white rice. She only put 1/2 the spoon of rice. I asked for 3 spons of grilled chicken. She put 2.5. I asked for carrots and she put like 6 little shreds. I asked for more and she still put barley any. So we move on. I ask for edemame and she put 6 little peas. OK I'm at the point of annoyed now so I speek up and ask her if im paying to sample there food or to eat. She had no comment and added another spoon full of edemame. I ask for cheese and she put barley any so I ask for more 4 times till it was finally able to be called cheese in the bowl. I ask for crab meat she she asked if I actually eat crab. Like excuse me. I asked for it. She look all annoyed that I was asking for crab meat so I had extra crab meat on top of the 1/4 she put. I have loved this place, but ONLY when we eat in or go in to order. Ordering online or through Grubhub or any of those doesn’t work. I have been eating here for years and tonight we ordered for pickup, the first time doing that. We ordered a small bowl, a burrito, and 2 medium bowls. The medium bowls were the same size as the small bowls. Things were missing, and there wasn’t as much chicken as when you go in to buy it. My teriyaki chicken only had about 3-5 pieces. This really bothered me. I had surgery Monday and a friend of my daughters sent her $100 to buy us dinner out. For 4 meals, is was $75 and it definitely was not worth that.
