Market on Broadway — Local services in Newport

We went to Market on Broadway upon the recommendation of a co-worker and local Newporter who brings MoB food to work several days each week. We went in and picked up two sandwiches and a chicken pot pie. We realized that we have finally found our go-to sandwich shop! The sandwiches were huge, but they were also delicious, definitely two meals for each sandwich! The pot pie was amazing, the best I have had. So we went back the next day for Sunday breakfast. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and one breakfast burrito, and they were also excellent, fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced. We are so glad that Market on Broadway exists and is only a short ride from Portsmouth. I cannot recommend M.O.B. enough! I go here on almost a daily basis. I have tried various pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, stuffies, chocolates, baked goods, cold drinks, coffee and salad/mixes from deli section. All food is beyond well crafted, and high quality. Everything is pretty much made in house or sourced locally. The price and selections are excellent too! Don't kid yourself by going to CF a few doors down. I can also say it's cheaper for me to go here, than to the grocery store AND even CF for MANY things. One of the biggest things is that I can bring my 70 lb. dog in! This place is a foodie delight! Market on Broadway brings charming old-school flair to the neighborhood with affordable prices that will beat out most places in Newport. They have a huge selection of ready-to-eat and made-to-order menu options, including an incredible sandwich menu, homemade-style lunch and dinner entrees, cold salads, premium meats and cheeses, and a ton of things you won't know you want until you see them.
