Co-Dough — Restaurant in Newport

We were planning a trip to Newport and I like to pre-plan things to do, see, etc.. while on vacation. I put in a search for breakfast places in Newport and Co-Dough came up. I was intrigued about everything being made out of sourdough and between the pictures and the people raving about the baked goods we had to stop by. We stopped on our way home from Newport so we could bring home some goodies for our family.

Let me just say that everything was amazing!! AND you would never know it was all made with sourdough. The Strawberry and Raspberry filled donuts were delicious, it was light and airy with just the right amount of fruit filling. The cinnamon rolls were yummy, the dough was perfect, lots of cinnamon and icing, it did border on being a little too sweet for my taste but everyone else liked it as is. The vanilla custard filled donut was to die for!! I think this was everyone’s #1 favorite!!
