Great experience from beginning to end. I walked in late one evening and was greeted by Kate M. I didn’t feel any ‘sales’ pressure and Kate was very knowledgeable and answered whatever questions I had. I set up an appt with Kate and received great ideas on how to furnish 4 separate rooms. I could tell Kate took time to prepare for our meetings (3 in total) and adjusted her suggestions to me based on my feedback.

This is the first time I’ve spent this kind of money on furniture. I’ll be the first to acknowledge it’s not cheap, but I believe Penny Mustard when they say they hope their customers hold the furniture for decades to come. The quality is superb and the delivery teams were exceptional.

Penny Mustard was our last stop after several other furniture stores. Harry was great with us - really easy going. We have a smaller living room space and we had done all our measuring; we worked together with the design staff and they were very invested in solving problems. All the staff were lovely and helpful. But what SOLD us is we could just feel the difference in the QUALITY of the furniture. We love that it’s all made in the US; but man, it is WELL made. I had an amazing experience at the Skokie location. Over the last two days, Mark and Joanne have helped a friend and I get a recliner for a senior friend. The entire staff really helped me make a choice today that fit the needs of my friend. They were even able to fit it in my car so I can bring it to her today. I am so grateful that they made it possible for me to support a senior with some very specific needs. This was my first time in the store and I will definitely be returning for myself someday.
