Visited ToysRUs for the first time since the stores closed. I was very excited to take my 3 yr old grandson for his first visit to the iconic store! He was most impressed with the giraffe, and gave him a big hug after sitting with him, lol. The toy selection was disappointingly small, and the prices were high; although they did have some good sales going on, which made most of the toys reasonably priced. My grandson was allowed to pick out one toy to purchase; but he couldn't find one that he wanted to buy (imagine that from a 3 yr old!). They didn't have any construction toys (which is his passion right now); and very few dino or dragon toys (runner up passion). So, we left without making a purchase. I was so happy to see the store coming back, even if only inside of another store; but perhaps if Macy's will give the toys a larger area of the store, it will be able to have a larger impact on our little grandkids. They carry Women's Shoes through size 11. Anytime I needed help, I was able to find a Sales Associate who was able to help me find (in most cases) what I was looking for! I recently attended a Class about Skin Hydration sponsored by the Clinique Makeup Counter (facilitated by Lisa the Counter Manager). Thanks to Nichole, who informed me about it. You can find something for your whole Family there! Macy's has a Star Rewards program that allows you to earn points from your purchases. You can sign...
ย ย ย Read moreWe had a Macy's store 15 minutes from our home but it was one of the stores the powers to be decided to close. Which was an interesting decision for a couple of reasons. The store they closed was continually one of the top if not the top store in the district over much larger stores. The store they closed was right near the Pennsylvania /Ohio line. Pennsylvania doesn't have tax on clothing. Ohio does so many from Ohio would shop here to not have to pay more for clothing as well as the local customers. So the powers to be want loyal customers to drive 45 minutes to this store in Ohio to shop. Who put these people in a decision...
