Malley's Chocolates — Local services in North Canton

They constantly close and lock doors early- 5-10 minutes before closing. So be there well before- no last minute shopping permitted apparently- their posted closing time is just a suggestion. The prices have sky rocketed the past few months- the front case is now $1-$1.25 per item vs by the pound anymore. “Oops” bags are mutilated beyond any recognition and $15? $1 for a single chocolate coin? It had been a few months since I stopped in- because arriving at 6:55- I’d find their doors locked and workers behind the counter lounging- and when I finally made it in before they locked the doors I was shocked- I’d be fine with the massive price hikes- if the quality was still there. I love Malley’s! I have tried different types of chocolate and lots of different chocolate brands and this has always been my favorite. I love the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate. They do have a pretty good selection of chocolates and I love to buy for family, friends and clients. The only reason I did not give five stars is because they are the highest priced compared to every other chocolate store that I have been at & their prices have increased. If their prices were the same as everyone else I would give five stars, no doubt. Prices are a bit high, but the chocolate is delicious. They occasionally have “sweet slips” bags that are cheaper (1 pound for about $6). They are filled with whatever chocolate got messed up, and you can’t always tell what you’re getting. Taste is the same quality though, appearance is just different. Location is not too bad, on busy weekend nights you may have to drive around a couple minutes to find a parking spot though because it shares a lot with several other businesses.
