I’ve been to targets all over the country- in big cities and small towns, and I’ve never had such a consistently poor experience. I’m shocked one of the recent reviews claims it’s well organized… every time I’ve gone so far it’s an absolute mess. Went recently to grab some quick clothing items, but the entire women’s department was a complete disaster. Reminds me of trying to shop at hollister back in the day haha. clothes from all departments were mixed in to every rack, so if you find a random item you like, good luck finding more and in the correct size. Fitting rooms were also closed, so I ended up only grabbing one thing because I didn’t want to get a bunch of stuff that didn’t fit. Another recent visit, my husband and I were looking at bedding and again, everything was mixed in randomly so if we were looking for a particular kind of sheet, good luck finding it. All types, sizes, and color ways were randomly shelved haphazardly. Additionally, the bullseye area was tiny and lacked the special cute items you can often find at larger targets. Finally, every time I’ve gone, it just has an overall chaotic feel. Crowded, kids running around screaming and apparently unchecked by their parents. I realize kids are going to have their moments but it’s rare to see/hear so much noise from so many sources all at once, even at other crowded targets. Just an overall unpleasant shopping experience… the Walmart up the street is more organized and easier to shop by far, which is imo a...
Read moreIt seems difficult to express the words I’m about to say. As a person who has been to this Target several times. It pains me to say this last one will be my last one. Consistently when I go here, I just leave with unsatisfactory expectations. It’s the closest Target to where I live. Unfortunately, I am no longer going to make an effort to go here. There are never enough shopping carts. I always have to go out to the parking lot to even shop. If you go especially to the Toys aisles there’s always and I mean always some kind of drink that is left there unattended. Which shows that they don’t clean their shelves. I came with friends once the other week and all of them were laughing and joking around at everything that was left on the floor. Yes… There were clothes, toys, even produce on the floor. First off, that gives the impression they don’t make effort into their general appearance. Second, what kind of person would want to consider buying groceries they have seen on the floor? Also, I seem to never have good service at checkout. They always make it feel like I am obligated to do self-checkout. Sometimes it’s even the only option they give. Personally I like when cashiers help me. I am not the most tech savvy person and these machines often confuse me. Then the staff sometimes, very rude, won’t attend me for some time expecting me to solve the problem on my own. Having this said, goodbye Target on Rivers Ave. I’m taking my...
Read moreMy husband, our infant daughter, and I were made to feel unsafe tonight by the staff working in the checkout area. If there is video, it is worth viewing. Tonight, the employees at the customer service/self checkout took turns berating and yelling at the three of us. It was clear Shirley who checked us out was not participating in this, but nearly everyone else, rather than help her and us to rescan our items after the original transaction was cancelled because of an unforeseen coupon problem, they were more interested in taking verbal shots at us like this was their personal sport. The only reason we stayed and took the abuse was because our primary purchase was formula while we did abandon over $150 worth of wants and impulse purchases. We have lost all confidence in this store and quite frankly, Target in general. Shopping trips with a newborn is not something we can do whimsically, this was a pre-planned trip and we lost over 3 hours of day and now we will make another trip to a different brand. Until now, shopping at Target has always been a destination for me. I have experienced verbal abuse in the past by the same individuals at this store but this time my family was there to witness. If I go in with a coupon and there is a computer error, the same people will yell and scare me. When the cartwheel app on my phone worked at self checkout but not the other POS, I was shouted down...
