If I could give less than one star I would. I work near the location and stop in from time to time. I always no to give at least 20 minutes no matter the number of workers because online orders are clearly prioritized over in store customers. I was on my lunch break and ordered two drinks. There were three customers there in front of me but at least 5+ workers inside. After waiting outside for the store (due to understandable Covid standards) for 45 minutes all customers have cleared out and no new orders are on the counter. At this point my lunch break is far over, so I go inside and just ask for a refund. The girl who took my order and several of the others start turning over everything not attached to the counter looking for my order. I let them know i need to get back to work and am no longer worried about my drink and just want the refund so I can get back to work. They ask for a receipt, I let them know I told the cashier I didn’t have one, as I declined one at the time of order. The nice girl who took my order vouched for me and I said I paid with card and can bring up the transact soon and I also used their app. No one in the store knew how to process the return. They kept just asking me for the receipt. Eventually they called someone off site but they sent them through the receipt route again. Suffice to say I had to leave without my two drinks or the refund because I was significantly late from work. The staff in store is young and understandably not the most knowledgeable, however the store is so miss managed even though they had more employees than customers eventually they are extremely slow and no one knows what’s going on. Read moreI have seen public toilettes with more couth and decorum than this restaurant. I was completely unsatisfied with the service, and to this day have not been issued a refund for my purchase. This all began with a curbside order that I so desperately regret. After arriving at the restaurant and when my order was supposed to be ready, I tried to call the number to the establishment several times, but the number was busy. The staff never brought my smoothies or food out to my car. After waiting about 15 mins after my order was supposed to be brought out to my car, I went inside. Not one employee was wearing a mask, and there were no gloves in sight.(I also witnessed an employee grab avocado from a container with his bare hands and drop it in a blender.) Upon going inside, I noticed that my receipt was on the counter but no smoothies or food accompanied the receipt. I asked one employee for my smoothies, and when they were handed to me one was a mess and had hair on it. I then asked another employee how long it would take for my food to be ready, and I asked if the disgusting smoothie could be remade. The employee answered the questions as if asking questions was a felony. The same employee, which seemed to be the manager, said that she would remake the smoothie and with no decency along with an attitude told me that the wrap that I ordered would be ready in 5-10 minutes. She never remade the smoothie, and my food never came out. After asking for a refund, the employee told me that because I ordered online I could not be issued a refund in store. I emailed the company, spoke with the corporation over the phone, and Tropical Smoothie never issued me a refund. Read moreAlways good. I love this place. I order a smoothie at least 3 times a week, and the preordering has been a life saver. I just make an order, walk right in and pick it up. My orser has never been wrong, and the smoothies are filling. Keep up the great work, guys and gals.
I would just like to say that I am keeping the stars because Joey and the team have always been EXCEPTIONALLY nice, but I had the worst experience with TS the other day, and I have been unable to get ahold of you all for 3 days. If someone would like to reach out to me, I'd really like to be reimbursed for the products that were a complete waste of money. I came in and they were slammed, it was nearing closing, so they had already packed everything up, there were dishes everywhere, and I can promise this wouldn't be okay with management. It was gross, but you all have never done wrong in the past. I should have left when we waited 35 minutes for smoothies, and they shoved all of the ingredients into one blender, because they didn't want to clean another. The quesadilla I ordered and the flatbread I ordered was on point, but the smoothies were so not okay, and I ordered SIX of them, three of them being the same thing! My family had been at the hospital all day, and all anyone wanted was Tropical Smoothie. A totally missed opportunity since we came out of our way, and I'm sad to say we won't be doing it again. It was dirty, the smoothies tasted like water, and the girls doing the smoothies really should have had had help. Very disappointing that I spent over $40 for that.
