My wife and I got to the restaurant at about 6:30 for dinner. No hostess was around for a few minutes upon arrival. We waited about 30 minutes for a table since the restaurant seemed busy from the front. When we were finally seated, it was at a table all the way in the back corner of the restaurant near the restrooms. We passed several other cleared, set tables with no guests seated at them and a couple dirty tables that still had not been cleared by the time we left. The back corner of the restaurant felt very drafty and cold (on a 50F March day.) Our waitress was polite but very uninterested in her job. My drink was wrong and I'm not convinced I was served the filet I ordered as it seemed more like a tender sirloin. The waitress assured us both were correct. We tried speaking with the roving manager who was making a sad attempt to clean some cups from one of the dirty tables, but he was not helpful and also seemed uninterested in his job. The waitress was very inattentive throughout our visit and had to be reminded of requests multiple times. The food was brought out by a runner and was the only positive of the trip. My drink was removed from the bill after pointing out the mistake (IPA vs the requested Porter) once more. TLDR: Food was good, service was terrible. Highly unlikely to return.

I go to Longhorns every now and then and they are pretty consistent. The food is good and so is the service. The thing that set this one apart was the service wasn't just good it was exceptional! I am reviewing simply to brag on our waitress who's name is Zy. In these restraunts, during the summer, you often run into young wait staff who are still trying to figure things out in their profession and simply working a job to past time and get a check. I am unsure how old the young lady is (I assume early 20s) but she had the attitude and grace of the older wait staff you find at some of the finest restaurants. Respectful, knowledgeable, talked without slang, kind, accommodating, and it seemed genuine. She was busy but didn't seem overwhelmed. I don't know if she desires to stay in the restaurant business but, if she does, I hope she soon works with some of the elites of Charleston. Nothing against Longhorns, it was great! Food was quick, hot, and fresh. They are better than most when it comes to franchise restaurants. Zy, Thanks for somewhat restoring my hope in the younger generation. I hope you continued growth.

Seating wasn't the best. We had a large group and they could not figure where to have us sit. They have very few places/tables for parties bigger than 6-8. We finally suggested a spot and it was like a light bulb went off! We help set up the area, Including wiping off tables. Food came in shifts. Some where finished eating whiles others had just started. Update - we waited over an hour to be seated and literally over half of the tables were empty. They had several employees just standing around talking. We noticed several times 5 employees gathered doing nothing besides talking, yet we could not be seated! Our waitress was good once we were seated. The food still came out in waves. I was about 1/2 finished with my meal, before my father in law received his food. He was NOT happy at all. Several steaks were severely under cooked and had to be sent back. Overall the food was good, table service was good, but being seated and their flipent attitude was not good. There are too many other places to go with excellent service to be only providing mediocre service.

My partner and I visited this restaurant after a long week of hosting family & friends for the holiday, as a reward to ourselves for not losing our minds. We got to the restaurant around 10pm on Saturday 11/25/23 after a long drive from Charlotte. Instantly I noticed all the tables were dirty, thinking they must’ve had a busy night. There was no one at the host stand and we waited about 5 minutes before someone greeted us. There was a server sitting right at the front high top as soon as you walk in, I’ve been both a host and a server so I know she should’ve at least greeted us and told us the host would be right there. We got sat in the back, in a half booth that had stuffing coming out of the seat and the floor beneath us was dirty with candy wrappers and food. Our server came after about 10 minutes, got our drink orders and then was gone was another 10 minutes. We ordered strawberry lemonade , sweet tea & a glass of water. She came back with our drinks, no bread in hand. The strawberry lemonade was disgusting. Way too sweet. I even asked for a cup of lemonade to even it out and it did not work! We ordered, the shrimp as an appetizer Flo filet. MEDIUM WELL, loaded baked potato NO BACON and Parmesan crusted chicken. Our server came back with my salad before our appetizer, again no bread in hand. When we asked for bread she said they were waiting on it. We had already been there for about 35 minutes at this point. So I’m assuming no one did an open me I count to get the kitchen together. The salad was thrown together lettuce hanging over the sides is the bowl. The ranch was very watery. I had a puddle in the bottom of the bowl. Also I had to ask a different server for new silverware because mine had hair wrapped up in it & the napkin was covered in lint balls. When our food finally came out 27 minutes later. The filet was WELL done, the potato had bacon on it so it all had to be sent back. I ended up eating my meal before my partner even got to bite his. If we wanted to eat at different times we would’ve just stayed home and had leftovers. …overall the experience was not worth our $77.09. I wanted to speak to a manager but I never saw one walking around touching tables to give my experience. This visit did not line up with the long horn experience I’m used to. I will Not be visiting this restaurant anymore. It...

If you have food allergies, stay away: Upon arriving for my grandparents’ 61st wedding anniversary at 3:45pm on a Saturday afternoon with the restaurant being over half empty, I should have known that this was going to be a fun event when they wouldn’t seat us in a booth to accommodate my grandparents because “that section was closed.” While our server seemed attentive, he was rarely around and we had to search for him multiple time. They were well staffed, only had about 15-20 tables occupied, and not busy. Out of our party of 6, everyone ordered a steak except myself. I ordered a salad with shrimp, no feta, no grapes. I’m allergic to both. All steaks were brought to the table and it took another 5 minutes to get my salad out. It seemed as though he had forgotten. When the salad came out, there were grapes and feta on it. I would normally just remove the grapes my self, but the feta was melted on and I wasn’t able to get around that. After asking a sweet young girl if she could fix it for me, I waited another 10 minutes for the salad to come out. The server came out and apologized, blaming it on the cook, but his excuse didn’t even make sense. No big deal. I didn’t mind waiting. No one was in a hurry. By the time my food came out again, everyone had finished eating. I noticed how there weren’t any grapes or feta on the salad, but the shrimp weren’t piping hot like they were the first time. I flipped all of the shrimp over and realized that they had melted feta on the underneath side since they had placed the shrimp from the previous salad on the new one. The shrimp were placed on the outer edge of the salad, so I scooted them to one side, took a few bites of my salad, which was now missing half of the other ingredients, and then was through. Thankfully I’m not deathly allergic to feta only moderately but raw grapes on the other hand, Im unable to breathe when I eat them. Since I didn’t trust how they handled the situation, I couldn’t even enjoy my salad for a nice dinner that I traveled 2 1/2 hours for. For anyone with severe allergies, I would stay away from here like the plague and Longhorn, you should train your employees better or at least hold them responsible if their poor decision leads to someone’s...

I have been to this Longhorns over 100 times. I had hair in my food. I pointed it out to the water Daquan. He said he didn't know if it was hair I picked the long strand of blondish hair up and although he saw it he asked if I wanted to send it back. I brushed that off. The manager David came over and asked if I wanted another one. I said no. I paid my bill and do tipped over 20%. On my way home I realized I was still charged for the salad. I called and a girl answered and I explained it to her and she said" well did you tell them you wanted it removed off of the bill" I stated i automatically assumed it would be. He took the salad back and the manager came over and asked if I wanted another one and I said no. She then slammed the phone down in my ear. I called back and the server Daquan answered and asked my name. I have him my name and asked to speak with the manager. Daquan says hold on and hangs up the phone. I called back again and David the manager answered. He said he would refund me via a gift card. I asked for the ladies name that slammed the phone down in my ear and he laughed and said he doesn't know her name. I said so you are telling me you're the manager and you won't give me her name to report her to corporate he laughed and said he doesn't know her name.....I am livid about this. It's one thing to have hair in my food(which happens so I wasn't angry about it.) Hence me paying and still tipping. However to be hung up on like that and the blatant disrespect.....I have enjoyed this Longhorns for years I will not be back until they change management and whoever the have working there and allowing them to treat customers...
