This review is solely for a one time experience and not for my other times shopping there.
We all know there's a shortage on appliances. I'm aware of it as well. When I was able to find a Samsung Microwave on February 27th 2022 that could be delivered by March 16th 2022 I almost thought it was too good to be true.
I talked to the in store sales associate and he did some research. He said that they had over 100 in their local warehouse. This put me at ease and I continued with the purchase as I was reassured that there shouldn't be an issue getting one.
Fast forward to March 14th 2022.... Got an email saying that my deliver was delayed until April 28th 2022. I'm a little furious with that as I already scheduled time off from work to do some projects around the house and be here for the delivery of the microwave. I called the customer service number to be told that there is no local warehouse. They just have local deliverers. That the microwave is probably stuck on a container shop somewhere. They gave me the option to cancel my order if I wasn't happy.... But.... I'm in need of a microwave and I'm kind of strong armed into getting this one since everything else is also on backorder.
I guess I just don't like being mislead. The salesperson was very reassuring with me getting one. If I had known the odds were lower... I would have reconsidered my options...
Read moreI have been a loyal Home Depot customer and card holder for many years but the flooring department at the North Fayette Home Depot is incompetent. It started 5 months ago with the incorrect flooring discription that was very different from the instructions inside my flooring box, which said i could not even clean my floors with a wet mop. Returned flooring, new flooring delivered a few bumps such as cancelked delivers . The real problem began when my floors where torn up but job could not be completed due to wrong measurements and not enough wood. I missed work and no work could be done that day. Wood was on backorder for months , i asked for flooring managers to call me and they never did. Lived without furniture and appliances for months , cancelled furniture deliveries and carpet cleaning. Managers from installation company lied to me and cancelled mybinstall multiple times after my flooring was finally back in stock. Finally got flooring finished 5 months later. It was supposed to take 2 days. Never received an appology and had to ask for any compensation. I got offered $350 which was a slap in the face. Managers are terrible as i should have received a calll during yhe flooring process and after completion . Terrible setvice . Awful experience with Home Depot in Robinson ! We purchased a lg washer with a sidekick and a lg dryer with pedestal,we got scheduled for delivery took the afternoon off the day of said delivery. We received an update that said sorry we missed you. Funny thing is we were sitting at home watching the track delivery that they send you,so we called them the driver said my husband said no to delivery which was a lie we ask them to have driver turn around Tara said ya that’s not going to happen and we could schedule for another time next week. We go to the store to talk to manager her name is Jill she called them delivery place they also said no to her she said let me talk to mod and i will call you tomorrow which she did and assured me delivery would take place today may 10 2025 i told her we would have to take the day off from work and was she sure it would be delivered well low and behold we called to check on delivery and wouldn’t you know it they FORGOT to put it on truck. 2 we missed 2 days of work and no washer or dryer.
