V's Type Boutique — Local services in North Myrtle Beach

Cute store with lots of great, trendy items. The first time I visited we had great customer service. The sales clerk, perhaps the owner, was super friendly, nice, and helpful. However, today we went in and the lady who checked us out was clearly not happy to be there. We tried making small talk, but she wasn’t having it, nor did she ever even crack a smile. In fact, I noticed her staring and giving us dirty looks. After paying, I realized there was a sign behind the counter that said they offer a 10% discount for using cash. I said I wished I had known that because I clearly could have paid with cash and saved money. The lady smirked and said, “Next time you’ll know.” THEN she happened to ask if we were locals. I pointed to my mother and said she was (after she had already made her purchase). The lady then said locals get a 10% discount. Well, hmmm, that would have been nice to know before paying as well. You would think those were things she would have mentioned prior to checking us out. Very...

Went here a few months ago, not long after they moved locations and increased the boutique product. I have literally never been in any clothing store and had such rude staff. A girl that worked there walked in on my friend when she was changing, came out of the room, then talked openly about her in front of the entire store with another staff member. “I know I walked in on her and everything but God the face she gave me.”, her exact words! I used to go to this store all the time when it was mostly second hand and loved buying nice, name brand clothes for less. But I will never go back after hearing that girl talk about a paying customer like that. You walked in on someone changing clothes, what kind of reaction would you have if it was you changing? Especially with two men sitting in the chairs that are in plain view of the changing rooms! They saw everything! My friend still wound up buying one or two items, I had my arms full from the second hand section and put every last item back...

I go all the way out to Wilkesboro from Winston-Salem sell clothes and other things as they are-were way better then other consignment shops. I usually feel very welcomed and did get a lot of assistance only with their new items by Brandy (she'sso awesome). I brought in a lot of great items and expensive handbags so I thought I'd get a good return. At check out I was then told that they weren't taking certain items anymore which would of been nice to know as it takes me over an hour to get there. Since I didn't get what I believed I thought I would I had to take out a lot of the items I was going to buy. I was met with irritation by I believe the owner and her attitude made me feel so horrible that I probably won't go back. This is sad as this was one of my favorite...
