I visited this store since a friend told me about it. I took in 2 very nice dresses that I only wore once but never wore again. They were still brand new. I received $8.60 one a Calvin Klein dress and other I don't remember but paid well over $190 for each. I decided to take it because they would sit in my closet. But my biggest problem is the women who I 1st dealt with blonde hair glasses. She was extremely unfriendly very rude and not at all professional. I have worked retail for many years and being that undesirable will not bring in much foot traffic. I'm also a supervisor and wouldn't think of being unfriendly under any circumstances. Including the items in your store which is carried at my store that they resale is sold more than our prices for the exact same item brand new. This is and was very unexpected to see this at a resale shop. Not including some items (That are used) are sold for the same price we have which ours is new. Upsetting to say the least. However the extremely upbeat very nice associate who offered me the price is someone who will make your business! She was very professional and smiling and happy the entire time. Unfortunately I will never return to your store simply because as I well know, it takes just 1 associate to ruin the entire store. Including prices on used items that cost the exact same as the stores that sell them brand new. Go to those stores and compare those prices before you price yours....
Read moreWell, let me start by saying it was a three day event, which I only was trying to sell a pair of Gucci slides which may I add are very authentic so first they say the manager wonât be there till Saturday to bring them back. I get there Saturday morning and the manager is there not the owner and they still cannot tell me if they even wanted the merchandise that I brought down so they told me that I could leave the things and they would contact me on Monday regarding a decision. Well they told me that they canât authenticate whether the shoes are real or not which may I add they are and then they tell me they donât want the Valentino leather bag because it has an odor to it. Yeah, it smells like leather so many things in that store looked like it came straight out of the thrift store. How dare they ?? has been nothing but a waste of time and an insult may I add I live all the way in Euclid and this store is located deep in North Olmsted . Iâd rather give my things away to a homeless person, then go back to mentors clothes to buy sell whatever anything from them I donât want anything from them not even the little change. Did they offer you to sell your things that they get for full price ? Think twice about going there try to sell online first if you can. Went to the Mayfield store first was very dissatisfied with the service that I received their thought. It would be different at the store but theyâre about the same...
Read moreThis is my third attempt to sell clothing here. Since I'm losing weight, I don't keep the clothes for long and thought coming here was a good idea. Big mistake! I've had a woman tell me the jeans I bought in January and wanted to sell in April were too 'worn'. Mind you, these jeans were supposed to have some rips in them. Just recently, my Dana Buchman blouse from last year was rejected due to the 'stitching' on the front (she meant darts), as well as a pair of pants that I had bought from THEM earlier this year (never got to wear) because they were 'too worn'. Well if they were too worn for me to sell them, they must have been too worn to buy from the previous seller. Lastly, my blazers with soft (small) shoulder pads from two years ago weren't bought because of the shoulder pads. They are back in style!!
Now I know why I can't find a lot of clothing for work, they don't buy them.
Very inconsistent, and no fashion sense by some of the older workers. I won't try to sell there again (or buy) and will take my...
