Kohl's — Local services in Northville Charter Township

Eeeeeh. It was okay.

I hear people go to this Kohl's often. People like Kohls. Kohl's has good discounts. Etc.

However, I hate clothes shopping and continue to hate it after this visit.

Lots of pants I wanted, they didn't have in my size. I settled for pants too big or pants that don't fit my style because again... I hate clothes shopping and this was the only clothes run I was going to do.

My cashier seemed rude or perhaps doesn't hear well, either way she didn't do the "have a good day, thank you, how are you" stuff that I did and always do as a customer. Maybe she is unhappy, who knows.

She tried to get me to get the Kohl's card like they always have done, but when I logically explained how randomly getting a new credit card would affect my credit, and why it wouldn't make sense for me, she didn't seem to grasp that and just said people get it all the time. Just pay it off. My friend explained it more and the cashier just stared at us like her brain just fritzed out lol.

There was another employee that offered to take any clothes I didn't want from the fitting room, she was nice and helpful.

But really the solid good thing was that I got to spend time with my best friend who basically acted as my personal shopper and motivational shopping coach to help me get clothes for an upcoming trip.

No, I'm not giving you her number.

I'm sure I will have to go here again at some point in my life, and I hope my friend will help me get through it...

Encountered an awesome employee! Gena, who was working at the Amazon Return Desk, is kind, polite, and very efficient. It cannot be an easy job dealing with a constant line of customers returning items searching online for the code for each item they are returning. She always greets you with a smile and patience. She has to complete several steps for each item presented to her. Some customers have a single item; but some have several items, all with a code for each one. While observing her as I waited in line and then shopped after my return, there was never a moment without a few people in line and more joining the line. Visited Sephora on May 19, 2024, around 11 am. The sephora section was clean and well stocked with products. The sales associate was kind to me and my daughter. She answered all the questions my daughter had and was knowledgeable of the plehtra of products sold at Sephora! We were there shopping for prom make-up. My 9 year old son was with us . Of course, he was the typical annoying little brother to his sister and was getting antsy being around a bunch of " woman stuff. ".... his words, not mine...
