I must say that I really appreciated the great service Kalin offered at the Waimea Falls stand of Hawaii Mobility Scooters and what a real lifesaver too! What I really appreciated was the very reasonable price of $20.00, so worth it!!! Although I brought along a manual wheelchair to push my older cousin (I am okay on flat surfaces) once I saw all the hills I would have to navigate I immediately opted for an electric scooter for our 2 hour walk. It is only 3/4 of a mile, but so many things to see and do along the way, and different paths to take, well it really ended up being more than I thought.

Fortunately my cousin was able to see all he wanted as he sampled the sights, beauty, and wonder of Waimea Falls. He was happy because he could control what he wanted, when and how he wanted, without trying to communicate each and every desire. I was happy because it freed me from all the huffing and puffing I would have tried to endure. The availability of the scooter at such a reasonable price ended up being a real game changer.

This scooter was an amazing opportunity for my father, who has difficulties walking and really gave him the chance to move with more autonomy then his wheelchair. He was able to ride around the Polynesian Cultural Center with no major issues. Staff were very kind and respectful and easily accommodated his scooter into all villages when able.
