H&M — Local services in Oak Ridge

Orlando at Florida Mall. This site has an upstairs level with children’s clothing. It’s larger than other H&Ms I’ve seen. I seldom go into H&M because they didn’t use to carry my size (XL) but this one does now, to my surprise.

We visited in August, 2025, and Fall fashions were out for back-to-school shoppers on the tax-free weekend Florida honors. Graphic tees were prominent, along with a few in-your-face floral prints.

About 15 years ago, H&M had a reputation for picking up avant-garde designers’ work. Somewhere along the way, I felt they became all about sleek office attire.

But this season at H&M seemed to be about getting into our ethnic roots.

I like to see what H&M staff are wearing to clue me into what’s in style or even what’s about to be in style. In SoCal, they dressed in the trend of the week. On the day we visited this Orlando site, one of the store representatives wore a fitted black tee under a floral skirt with black leather Converse shoes and a bandanna over shoulder length curls. Another wore wide leg jeans and an H&M baseball jacket over a colorful graphic tee.

Many of the graphic tees featured names of other countries.

I love the outfit here but honestly customer service really sucks online and in Person. Bought a jacket online and they shipped the wrong one order it again and they shipped out the wrong size again got charge twice for it. So it was $120 all together. Took forever to return due to my receipt saying a different size. Cal customer service about the problems I was having they kept giving me the run around finally to keep me happy the sent me a 20% off of total perches that doesn’t expire. So finally after 6 months of just avoiding the store finally give it another chance. Found a few clothing I like wasn’t bad. Show the guy my coupon and he won’t accept it. He kept saying it’s an old coupon. I explain there isn’t an expiration Date nor dose it say online only. He still wouldn’t accept it at all. So finally call customer service to see what we can do because honestly didn’t like how I was being treated once again. They just say well it is an online only coupon. Which when I first got the coupon I already explained to them I’ll never be doing online ordering because of all the hassle I went through. The guy has specifically said “don’t worry they’ll accept it in stores” just in all...

I had a horrible experience today at this location. They had a pair of shoes that I wanted in the clearance section. The whole area had a sign that clearly displayed “6.99”. This pair of shoes were the only one left and they were also slightly damaged on the bottom (probably overly tried by customers). As soon as I took them to the register to pay, the young girl on charge told me that these shoes were 40 dollars (regular price) and not 6.99, like it displayed on the sign. There is no way those shoes could be regular price since it was on the correct spot as displayed on the sign, including the fact that they were damaged. They only offered me a 10 percent off, which I found ridiculously unacceptable. I believe they should had honored the price that the sign displayed. In the end, I left with no shoes and also...
