I came in with months of overgrowth. Mr. Lee simply asked me if I wanted "short" or "medium". I picked medium, and he went to work. It was a relatively short no frills cut and I'm very happy with the result. I'm usually not happy with haircuts at all. The fact that I gave essentially no direction was an advantage, because it allowed Mr. Lee to do what he thought was best. The cut worked well with my receding hairline, the result looks natural and clean. I'm very pleased with the short amount of time for the cut, just about 15 minutes. The price is hard to beat. Big fan of the head vacuum. I took a shower when I got home and there was definitely less loose hair debris.
Probably not the place to go if you desire a particular or non-standard haircut that requires a lot of communication. But for me this was a perfect experience. Mr. Lee is nice...
Read moreDon’t waste your time here. Came in for an easy cut and he still managed to mess it up. I didn’t have enough cash so he suggested the ATM next door, which wasn’t even working. I offered to pay via Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, but he still refused and threw a temper tantrum like a 9 year old. I paid him $13 cash and came back 30 minutes later with the rest of the money but he closed shop an hour early despite claiming to close at 6:30pm everywhere. Extremely rude and poor customer service. I am disappointed in how the elderly are setting examples for the children nowadays. I was going to tip him $5 because I felt bad for him but now after seeing how he treats people, a $0 tip should suffice. I tried to be reasonable and polite but he was the...
Read moreMr. Lee is very efficient, though he can be a little ham-handed when moving your head around to use his clippers. For the price, I can take a little neck-bending. One thing, however: he is definitely NOT, repeat NOT there til 6:30 everyday. At least not on Saturdays. Another person who I think was also a barber was sitting in there talking on his phone. He said Mr. Lee had left. It was 5:05. I asked him when he "usually leaves", and he replied that Mr. Lee leaves around "4:45, 5 o'clock." Qualify that to mean Saturday or the whole week as you will, but I wouldn't bother going after 4:30. I will be going back again next week, but...
