First thing I want to say is I absolutely love lucky slice it's the only Pizza that I will eat the Ogden store is amazing what will staff all but one I am out of names but the female manager that's working tonight November 9th 2024 I had asked me to leave to make room for customers when I'm a pain customer I literally was eating one of your amazing cookies my little business wasn't even done with the actual item and she told me to leave when I am a paying customer I spent plenty of money in a month's time at your place literally every day literally every day at the Ogden all 25th Street store I've been money every single day buying Pizza I'm homeless I got wrongfully victory after 15 and 1/2 years of my life at the same place I've been homeless since December 29th and it's only her that has an issue I'm better names but she had no right to do that to tell a pain customer they have to leave when they've caused no wrongdoing when they have done nothing wrong with literally all they're doing is sitting there eating the food today I just bought is messed up she's the only one that has issue and if I had a place to go I'd be there right now I would love nothing more to no longer be homeless but sadly I don't and the all the other staff are awesome positive amazing so all these three stars is because of her but you guys are definitely a five star 10 star a trillion Star restaurant in the best pizza that exists it will not stop me for being a customer or lucky slice but it honesty having a manager change would be good because this is unfair uncalled for and not cool at all but this is not changed my love and support for Lucky slice it's all just her so now I'm going to be outside watching the youth play BYU tonight and hope by you to win by the park because obviously it's not that cold thankfully but I am surely not happy at the fact that I got kicked out of my favorite restaurant and the paying customer because a manager for no reason at all I don't think she could ever make an actual reasoning Heather probably be being in there and tell him this is somebody who is down under luck he lost their apartment to wrongfully diction after 15 and 1/2 years now repeat again if I had a home to go to right now a place to go to I'd be there right now be home with any fun but hopefully by next year it'll end so anyways looking slice once again is the best pizza that exists hopefully something can be done because this is not the first time and hopefully this is the last time but no paying customer that is being good she have to ever leave especially someone like me who spends money everyday at your wonderful restaurants thank you so much hope this gets resolved...

For the last few months, Lucky Slice (downtown Ogden) has been our go-to dinner just about every Friday night (usually by delivery). We've generally been happy with the quality and service and free delivery is great. Over the last four weeks, the service seems to have declined.

About a month ago, I got our order in a little later than normal so delivery times were long (expected for a busy Friday night). I opted to go pick it up. When I arrived, the food was still cooking, which was understandable because they were busy. While waiting for our food, I could hear one of the staff behind the counter dropping repeated F-bombs. It was loud enough and clear enough that I heard it all while sitting in the window in front of the pickup counter. I didn't have my kids with me but there were kids in the restaurant. I know Lucky Slice isn't the fanciest place in town and I'm no prude but I don't want to hear that language in a restaurant I'm choosing to spend my money in.

Last Friday I ordered two pizzas for delivery at 5:25. The estimated delivery time was 6:30. At 7:25, our food still had not arrived. My wife called and the guy that answered the phone immediately acknowledged that it was almost an hour past the expected delivery time. He said he suspected our "order got mixed up." He said he was going to talk to the manager and put my wife on hold. When he came back on, he said our pizzas just went in the oven. My wife asked how long it would be before we got the food. His response was, "I don't know. Maybe 45 minutes." My wife reminded him that we ordered 2 hours ago. He said, "Yeah, we're busy." That was it--no apologies or explanation. We asked him to cancel our order and refund us. We made the kids something quick so they could eat and go to bed.

I realize mistakes happen and can be expected. That said, I feel like some response other than "we're busy" was warranted. If the orders were mixed up, then explain it or have the manager come on and explain it. This experience bums me out. I like the pizza here and I love seeing a locally owned business do well. That said, I'll take my business elsewhere if this is the best...

Not sure what happened yesterday( Nov 6th ) but being my birthday I decided to order here instead of a few other places I had in mind because of how much I have loved their pizza at food truck nights in the past. I started ordering online and had trouble, so I called at 6:00pm and asked to order a few pizzas for pickup I inquired as to how many people one XXL pizza would feed approx. And they told me 3-4 people. Knowing that I have 6 in my family and my in laws were coming over to eat and most pizzas we will eat 2 sliced each, I grabbed 4 pizzas and 1 order of cheesesticks and 1 order of garlic knots in total. I was told it would take 30-45 min. I always give a little bit of extra time for places with a sit down and walk in order areas as it can be longer. So, when I came at 715 to pick up the order I was shocked when it wasn't ready, but seeing 4 other people waiting I figured it was just a really busy night. I had my family hungry and waiting at home and also my 2 daughter in the car waiting, so I was a little in a hurry. To my surprise it took not 20 min more but a whole other hour and 10 min before my pizzas were done. No discount offered, no real apology nor explanation as to why it would take over 2 hours to make an order of 4 pizzas and 2 breadsticks. My order cost me $106, so I at least expected a hey we are so sorry and this wasn't normal and we will give you a complimentary pizza or discount code for next time or something! This is insane. Not to mention when I got home one of the pizzas was not even the right one. Really disappointed in lucky slice. Hopefully this was...

food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 5/5 value: 5/5 Don’t Skip On: The Real Dill (shout out to my pickle fanssss) Lucky Slice is one of my favorite pizza places in Utah!! Although I’m sad that it’s not closer to Salt Lake, I always look forward to visiting when I’m in the Clearfield or Ogden area. Maybe one day they will come to Salt Lake 😀 They have both purchase by the slice and whole pies to order, which fits everyone’s needs! They also have a good variety of beer, salads, wings, and apps. Their staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I learned today that there is now an app all thanks to Gladius, who was our cashier today. Now I can start earning points each time I go. We got stuck with a lot of orders being made while the Farmer’s Market was happening today, but most other times haven’t been an issue. If you want a whole pie, be prepared to call in the order so you don’t have to wait as long. Highly recommended for your pizza fix!

Went on a Saturday at 5PM. We could tell it was a popular place because the line was backed up to the front door, and every table/seat was occupied. When we ordered our pizza (2 slices and one full pizza) they asked if we were ok waiting 10-15 minutes for the pizza to cook. We paid and stood around until we could snag a few seats. After 20 minutes we asked if we could just get the slices to feed the kids (9 and 3 years old), they said they were working on the order in the order placed. Then after 30 minutes we asked another worker and they said they’d get us the slices right away, and they did. Then after 34 minutes we got the other pizza. This was a major turn off, which could have easily been mitigated with telling us the right wait time for the food. The ambience was very loud and would be difficult to have a conversation with more than 3 people. The pizza was very good, but I would definitely not return if they were busy and I was hungry.
