Sound Warehouse — Local services in Ogden

I went in to have a stereo system switched from one jeep to another Sound Warehouse installed the system in my first jeep and the salesman said he would switch the system into my new jeep and gave me a verbal quote of 150-250 to switch the system from one jeep to the other. I took both jeeps in to have the system installed. When I returned to pick them up i was surprised with a bill of 550+tax. When I talked to the salesman and said asked what happened to the quote of 150-250 he completely denied it. I had two other people there with me when he gave me the quote and they both heard 150-250. I also had these same two people with me when i was picking the vehicle up they both testified saying to the salesman that he quoted 150-250 he again denied it. So I ended up be stuck with a final bill of 550+ tax and a very dishonest salesman and manager. The salesman then said that he would work it out with the manager and they would fix it. I waited and both the salesman and the manager denied quoting me 150-250. I don't care about the money, money is money but when people are dishonest that really bugs me. If I had to say anything about the Sound Warehouse in Ogden UT, it is that they are dishonest and do poor work. After paying the bill I drove home and inspected both vehicles the deck or head unit they had installed was brand new and had been scratched during install they again denied that they had anything to do with that. Upon further investigation I found wire and bits and pieces of garbage all throughout both of my jeeps. Upon inspecting the original donor jeep i found that the stock speakers they were to reconnect were not connected they had only connected one of the four speakers and I had to run the wire and connect them myself. It was as if they didn't care about my vehicle at all worst service ever. At this point i was very displeased with Sound Warehouses services or should I Say lack of Services. I have used sound warehouse with all my vehicles and this is the last time I will ever deal with such dishonest people it is just bad business. If you are in need of any audio work I strongly suggest that you avoid Sound Warehouse...

These guys were super great from my first call inquiry to making a down payment to setting up my appointment to dropping my car off to picking it up. Everything was fast, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. So glad I chose to go here instead of this other place I had gone to before for the same service. Let's just say SW had more to offer and treated me much better as a new customer than the other place did as a repeat customer. I was appalled by that place's lack of professionalism. I had a remote start installed and they did a beautiful job. Can't even tell they were in the car. Dropped it off at 9am and they called me at 1Pm to let me know they were done. Didn't pressure me into paying everything up front when I made the appointment. Didn't pressure me for payment when I dropped my car off either. They were more than happy to show me how the remote start works (although I had the same kit on a previous car). Provided me the best option at the best price to fit my needs. No pressure trying up-sale something I didn't need or get me to buy other stuff just to make a buck. Left me alone to browse around the store. There to answer my questions when asked. I will definitely be back for the stereo and speaker install next. They have a new repeat customer for life. Lastly, the experience alone between the technicians combined can't be beat. Not a bunch of young kids who don't know what they're doing and in need of constant supervision. These guys have been doing this for YEARS! Love companies with employees that have been there forever. I recently had the pleasure of working with Bill and Brandon on my car audio system upgrade, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, both Bill and Brandon was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly helpful, ensuring that every component was selected and installed with precision.

I brought in a my own sub, a JL Audio 12w7ae, in which Brandon installed into a custom made box made to match. Thank you again Brandon for taking your time on that, you aboslutely killed the installation and made it look easy.

They took the time to understand my needs, focusing on sound clarity, bass response, and overall performance and recommended a setup to match the sub that exceeded my expectations.

I did a full car audio upgrade, from the tweeters, front door speakers, rear speakers, a din upgrade, and 2 amps, one for the speakers and the other for the power hungry sub.

The installation was flawless, with clean wiring, secure mounts, and attention to detail that you don’t always see. Both Bill and Brandon’s customer service was top-notch. They were always available to answer my questions and made sure I was satisfied before leaving the shop.
