They say "try on a bra and get a free panty" but last time I went here and tried on a bra (which I decided I'd spend on later) they put a lot of pressure on me to BUY the bra at their store right then. Mind you I bought THREE PINK sweaters that day. It looked like they would get the sweet fitting girl in trouble also for not making sure I'd BUY right then. I felt terrible.
Today I went back there for an exchange of an item in a recent online purchase. They had me standing at the check out for a half an hour (literally) and I was told since they could not find a record of my purchase (!!?!) in their system I could not exchange. I just found my receipt online and can't help but wonder how THEY can't find it. I handed them a coupon to be used for the (clearance) swim suits I was buying, the manager said it was expired, but it clearly was not. It was good until December of this year. Then she said I was difficult and that my coupon was a fake replicated one. ...I had gotten it as a gift/apology from the manager at a different VS store nearby for a future in- store purchase because they had not held an item for me that they were supposed to (I had called ahead in the morning). They took the coupon in the end, but I'm wondering WHO is making things difficult here since they had about 15 people waiting for an unreasonable amount of time right behind me. Thanks for the pressure! I spend plenty (and won't in the future) at VS. I don't feel bad exchanging a wrong fit until I find what I like. I do buy when items are on sale. If you judge me because you can't make all the money you want on me I will find my sales elsewhere. :) Aero copies their style and is a lot more reasonably priced. VS stores with customer service like this deserve some...
Read moreI've been going to this store for years and every time I finally get to the check out it is so unorganized it is unbelievable. I've waited in line for 20 to 30 min at times. But tonight did it for me. I understand the holidays are super hectic but that is still no excuse for how I was treated at the check out tonight. I was at the check out and I was looking at lip gloss and clearly wasn't ready so I let some people go in front of me. When I was ready, I got in line on the far left (they only had two cashiers and there were AT LEAST 10 people waiting) and waited for about 10 min before they brought another cashier out. We waited another 5 minutes or so and then they finally opened another register in the middle. They started saying "I can take who's next over here" at the center register. As soon as the woman in front of us got up to the register we went to the center register because there was no one in the line. Then the girl who was supposedly the manager (we had no idea she was because she looked so unprofessional and her appearance was completely unkempt) told all of the cashiers to skip us! We had been waiting in line just as long as the people next to us on each side. It makes sense to me that once you open a third register...you would create a third line right? I know the manager saw how long we were waiting. I just think she didn't like that we took it upon ourselves to move to the new line. So i set my items down and left. When I go to VS I will be going to a different location. I am tired of waiting 20 to 30 minutes in line when I am spending so much...
Read moreI went in to get some of the $9.99 bras and $3.99 panties. I specifically asked where they were. I was escorted to certain bins. I picked up 4-5 bras and asked if they were apart of that specific sale. I was told yes so I kept shopping. I proceed to the check out where I waited over 20mins to check out. I also told the associate at the register some of the bras had dog hair on them and asked if they check their returns before putting them out. He then said do you still want it? Shacking my head I said I guess I can just wash them separately to get it out. He started to ring me up and I realized they were ringing up twice the price I was told. I asked about the price and told him what I was told on the floor. The tickets had a red line through them with no price stickers and i asked on the floor if it in fact was $9.99. He said I could get a credit card with them and that was the only extra discount. I explained that I only waited in line because I was told they were $9.99. He just stared at me and said do you still want them. I was so upset that I waisted so much time in that store and endured that line. I walked out upset and empty handed. The poor customer service and lack of customer care was astonishing. I will not be visiting this location again. I will also tell my military and retail peers...
