My experience today. I went here because i saw they had great reviews I figured it was a professional and reliable establishment. I called in the morning to see how long it would take to get a stereo and a back up camera installed. Sales rep said 3 to 4 hours so I decided to visit establishment and get the job done.
After we agreed on the equipment and the pricing, I asked how long it would take to complete the job. Sales rep Robert said 3 to 4 hours. Which I thought it was reasonable so I went to the mall across the street. Came back 3 1/2 hours later, and my vehicle hadn’t even been started.
I asked how much longer. He said it should be ready before closing hours.
At that point, I told him I would return because my electric wheelchair was at 9% battery. My battery got low due to the fact we went around the mall for 3 1/2 hours.
I still agreed to come back another day to get the job done. And this happened.
ROBERT said he didn't have any more days available for me to come back and get the job done. He also said he wasn’t a magician to get the job done in 3 hours. as I was walking out (rolling out). He yelled at me and said DON’T COME BACK! Worst customer...
Read moreThis place has got to be the hugest price gouging spot ive ever walked into. Its absolutely INSANE. They tried to charge me OVER 1600$ to do an install in an harley road glide. Checked theyre prices on the equipment they were trying to sell me an found out they TRIED to charge me 1300$ over what everyone else sold the same pieces for… No wait, i take that back. I got a more powerful amp somewhere else and it was still 1300$ cheaper. I did the install myself and with ZERO harley install experience finished the job in less then 3 hours it was the easiest stereo install EVER. These guys tried to charge me $200 for install materials ( soeaker wire/small connectors) For a motorcycle!!!! Then as i am looking at an install plate on the metra site the guy tells me im asking for it for less then his cost… as im looking at the RETAIL price on the mfg website. Then he hung up on me when i asked why he was charging me double. At least Dallas is professional when he is trying to rip you off… His employees are...
Read moreGood stereo shop, but you may want to look elsewhere if you are on a budget.
The shop carries pretty quality stuff at the higher levels and has some pretty well known and established brands. Their selection is albeit a bit small and the shop is on the same side of the spectrum. The labor prices are decent and they will work with you for package deals.
I figured I wasn't going to get much with a budget of 350$ and I was correct. The package they worked up was only two front speakers and a double din head unit. When on crutchfield I got infinity speakers x4, a JVC KW-R930BTS head unit, pre wired harness, and all the mounting brackets and hardware needed for $339.96. So if you are on a budget, don't expect a whole lot.
Overall, the staff was friendly and the shop was clean. If you are looking for high-end audio supplies or custom installs I can see the appeal of this shop for that type...
