First of all I would like to say that this place is very run down. Smells old. Stains everywhere. There is blood on my sheets and when I reported it they did nothing to comp me or discount me offer me any sort of addition to my stay to make up for the fact that there was biological material on my bed when I arrived
Also, I was told when I checked in to ask in the morning about late checkout. Considering I had a zoom call for work to do at around:12 I was going to ask for one checkout. They told me to ask in the morning I called in the morning they told me that I needed to ask when I checked in
Seems to me like no one is trained here. No one knows how to clean anything and as soon as I raise my voice the slightest they hung up on me. Then I had to call back and ask for the managers voicemail considering they said that the manager wasn't in. So I asked for the voicemail to the manager and they sent me to a disconnected line and then I called back and asked from the managers voice box again and they sent me to a disconnected line. I called very upset asking why couldn't be patched through to the managers voicemail and the lady told me I wasn't welcome to stay there anymore
When I was packing up to leave and on the phone with corporate to report all of this they banged on my door and told me to leave because the police were coming
Seems to me like they were irritated that I complained about blood on the sheets and then when I told them that they didn't know how to do their job (like one person telling me one way to ask for late checkout and another person telling me the opposite way to ask for checkout )
seems to me like no one is trained here and they need to learn how to work in hospitality
Also, if you can't handle somebody being in a bad mood first thing in the morning then you don't need to be in hospitality
I contacted corporate. They seem to be very concerned about the way that I was treated but unfortunately because they had removed me from the property (for complaining) they could not comp me my stay but they made a report and asked me to email the blood from the stains that were on the bed
This is the worst hotel in Ontario rancho Cucamonga area. I would highly suggest staying...
Read moreI loved my stay here for several reasons. I was able to redeem a free night stay via my World of Hyatt credit card, and it came with free designated parking.
The AC unit in the room did an excellent job in keeping the room fresh especially when it was hot and humid outside. It was a great retreat from the hot days. Everything in the room was in working order, including the TV, the room phone and what I loved about the space is how functional it is. We stayed in a King Room, which was set up with an adorable living room area, a small kitchen area, a dedicated work desk, plenty of storage, a closet and a separate sink from the toilet and shower. Everything made sense in the space, and it was spacious. Their ice machine worked great and we loved it! Also, they had helpful signs posted throughout (restrooms, elevator) and I love the extra security feature where the hotel is locked 10pm-6am unless you have a hotel key.
In the morning, we had delicious complimentary breakfast, which included hot food like scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, coffee, OJ, bread and pastries. Needless to say, I ate GOOD that morning. The staff was very good about keeping the area stocked, ready & clean. They were attentive and friendly.
In addition to that, it is SUPER conveniently located next to Ontario Mills. We stayed one night to see a comedian at the Ontario Improv, and it was only half a mile away. The following day, we did some shopping and we loved having the late checkout option.
I'm taking away 1 star because the pool was not available during our stay. First, we had an issue with using our room key to unlock the gate. We went to the front and they attempted to troubleshoot it but we continued having the same issue. We forcefully opened the gate only to see that the pool was dirty. Granted, there was an active fire nearby but in that case, it should've been closed. There was ash in the water, and they also had tree trimmers around the pool area so it added more dust and debris into the pool. It would've been nice to get to use the pool while we were here, but it wasn't in the cards this time around.
Overall, very, very happy with my stay here and I plan on...
Read moreI have stayed at many hotels, but my experience with Hyatt Place Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga on August 30, 2025, was by far the worst I have ever encountered.||||I booked three rooms several days in advance for my family and friends over the holiday weekend. While already driving 7–8 hours from Northern California with my wife, kids, and friends, I called to confirm late check-in and was assured everything was fine. An hour later, I received an email that one of my confirmed rooms was suddenly cancelled due to “overbooking.” This happened mid-journey, on a holiday weekend, when most hotels in the area were already full.||||When I tried to resolve the issue, I was bounced between Hyatt associates, placed on silent holds, and given conflicting information. I was even told that the cancellation “was not the property’s doing” before it was admitted that the hotel itself cancelled my room. No replacement accommodation was offered. No meaningful compensation was provided beyond refunding the points I had already spent—which did nothing to cover the real hardship caused.||||To make matters worse, at check-in, the staff were rude and dismissive. I was referred to as “Ali person” in a mocking tone while they spoke to each other on the phone, in front of my children. This was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Because of Hyatt’s failure, my wife had to sleep on a couch in the room with our kids while friends stayed in other rooms. This completely ruined what should have been a family holiday trip.||||Hyatt brands itself on customer care and loyalty, but this property showed none of that. A confirmed reservation means nothing if it can be cancelled hours before arrival, and guests treated with disrespect at the front desk.||||I will never trust this property again, and I strongly warn others: do not rely on Hyatt Place Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga for confirmed reservations or...
