If you have all day killing time, and falling in a slow long line wouldn’t be a lot for you to bear, then, by all means do your 1 to 2-hour of shoppin’ around here. This is now the new waiting time shopping at Burlington Ontario, where long lines and less staff to ring you in await. No more cashiers by the parking lot entrance, making the mall-entrance cashiers jam packed. No wonder you may either hear or see people say “line is too long” and simply leave their stuff on some racks or no longer shop around, instead of standing and waiting in these everyday long lines. And this scene is just one-third of the total queue.🙄 Compare this picture to those of the photos uploaded by the persons prior to my comment. You will see the difference of how Burlington try to hide the long line by closing the entry going to cashier and move people to the other side of the cashiers. Why? So that those yet outside their mall entrance will think there’s no more long lines and that they can be fooled to go inside, grab a cart, grab a basket, and start shopping ONLY to find out, when they’re ready to check out, there’s a very long line waiting for them. I used to love spending time here. But not any more. They can afford to rent all the space and bring in all liquidized items from other stores, but can’t afford to, at least, put more cashiers at both entrances. So, what a waste of each passing day losing sales because, either they don’t want to spend for additional cashiers or perhaps issues with management or co-workers? Guess will just wait for the holiday season again to see more staff AND CASHIERS assisting customers. Yes, lines during the holidays may be quite long, but it moves fast. Because there are...

Lots of merchandise but wait in line for 50 minutes to pay, I don't think so. Are people that can scan barcodes that hard to find. Their lost sales don't come back, we just buy some place else.

Just to let you know we didn't wait in line to pay. we left and went elsewhere and bought what we needed so that's lost sale plus went we try to shop in your store in the future if there is any long lines we will just move on.

Today update 3.20.2023

We stood in line to pay for 40 minutes. When we first got in line there only 3 cashiers. After being there 15-20 minutes 2 of them left to go on their break, I am not complaining about them going on break, they are over worked and many customers are mad are the cashiers and not the corporate cause problems. We spent a total of 40 minutes just to pay, more time then we did shopping in your store. 👎

Burlington YOU ARE A TERRIBLE EMPLOYER AND YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS TERRIBLY ALSO. WE, YOUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER SERVICE.

YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. YOU NEED MORE EMPLOYEES. YOU NEED TWICE AS MANY EMPLOYEES TO DO THE JOBS.

How many sales are lost because people just leave what they want to buy in the line and find something at your competitors store. We have walked out of your stores, plural, no less then 12 times because of this and other we talk to in your line have told us the same. Lost sale would pay for a full staff.

Can I get everyone who reads this to please comment to. Do you think the...

I give it 3 Stars because they have really good items there. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience while shopping last minute about to close in like 15 minutes, Manager was rushing us out that the store was closing so me and my friend were rushing trying to find one more last item before we head to the checkout. Manager started following and pressuring us to hurry up, we were all rushing running fast quick and got the last item and they accused us of being shoplifters, manager sent 2 securities to follow us, we were already in line waiting for minutes and had security behind us. We paid our items, i tried apologizing to the manager for running and being in a hurry since she was rushing us, she ignored completely ignored me and gave me and ugly attitude and we still being harassed all the way outside by securities with their phone recording us for no reason because we didn’t do nothing wrong and we paid for our items and left happy cause we got a good deal. We even asked them what time do they open and woman security told us to “Look it up ourselves!” They were so rude, disrespectful and misjudging us when they were the ones rushing us out so we were walking fast almost running to get to the line...

I had a Bad experience exchanging an item I had the receipt, it didn't't have the Burlington price tag but had the other original brand tags from the shirt. I did purchase at this location. The cashier asked another cashier next to her and she said she wouldn't exchange if it was her I asked why if I purchased their and she said no way of knowing that I purchased their, I explain there were more In the floor if she wanted me to get it she said no because people return items from other places. Luckily my cashier asked the manager and found the brand tag number match on the receipt. I did check the return policy and nowhere does it say you need Burlington tags!! Just need a receipt and unused item! So please update all your employees on customer service and policy rules or if you need to update your policy for customers to know when gifting an item to keep the Burlington tag! Especially with the holidays coming up
