Yesterday, June 8, 2018 around 4:00 in the afternoon. We had a bad experience with the staff only to find out that she’s the manager. Wow!!!
Asual, whenever I go to Ontario Mills-my 4 year old would visit this LEGO store. Due to unfriendly staff, I chose not to anymore however, my child Ioves going here. We buy at times not often though —-and this maybe the reason why we had to experience the incident below:
My son and his friend were building and one staff approached us telling that Legos shouldn’t be on the floor (fine!!!) and I thought that’s just one of the rules of the store. But, NO!!! It didn’t end up like that - she looked at said that the little LEGO people doesn’t belong in the area so, without being careful and thinking of what will the children feel, she grabbed them. With my astonishment, I was just watching her but I told myself “hey, wait that’s so rude .” So, I said, they were here when we came and we didn’t get them from anywhere.
My little boy said “she destroyed my creations and she’s very mean.” He’s four and he knew what exactly she did.
There were people and children ahead of us who were playing - but the staff didn’t approach and stop them- why only us???? Staff and management- please explain!!!!!!
To make the story short - we left but I can’t help myself and went back to the store and asking for the manager!!! As to my surprised, she was the Manager!!! Whaaat!!!
I told her next time, please wait for the children to finish before getting anything and told her that we are not going to get those little pieces....
To the owner and management of this store for children-please orient your people on how to deal with stores issues especially involving children. And your manager, she should...

I was helped today by Gabe, give this man a raise/promotion! I've been coming here for months and haven't been greeted by anyone and have not been able to find the Series 27 Wolfpack Beastmaster, it's always been sold out (most likely by scalpers). Gabe helped me find one in the back and also informed me to get here at opening 10am on Monday for a better chance of getting more. Sam helped me at the register and was very friendly/great energy about him as well.
I've now changed my review to 5 stars because of these 2 associates today 😁🙏
Previous experience review: My least favorite Lego store I've been to in SoCal. I've been numerous times and every time the sales associates I've spoken to seem unenthused to be there and are unknowledgeable in simple questions like "when are your shipment/restocking days?". It took me asking 3 people today to finally get a straight answer from someone who appeared to be a manager. A stark contrast to other Lego store locations I've been to.
Unfortunately it's the closest location to me currently but for those reading I've had far better experiences at the Anaheim Downtown Disney, Glendale, Century City, and my personal favorite the Westfield Topanga location.
I will change my review if things change, but currently I cannot recommend this...
Read moreThis LEGO store is one of the best I've been to. Even though it's smaller than most, it more than makes up for its size by the friendly service and welcoming, fun atmosphere while shopping. Displays are setup to show you what you're going to buy and there's a place for kids to grind their creative engines by building things with misc. LEGO pieces.
One of the best things about LEGO is that the company offers a "LEGO Loyalty Card" which gives you:
$10 store gift certificate after spending $200 (in $25 increments) $20 store gift certificate after spending $400 (in $25 increments)
You can even add more than one loyalty card together to combine store gift certificates! I just purchased two Indiana Jones LEGO sets ($30), used my $30 store loyalty card gift certificates and only paid for the tax! What a deal!
For anyone with a creative imagination, this is the store for you! If you love building things with your hands, its...
