Grandmother Was turned down after we were told the mother has to be present for a piercing on my niece ! Which was news since they recently pierced ears for a grandmother and her grandkids ! So we left and contacted her mother ( my identical twin sister )and she arrives and she said she was lying with proof of ID and birth certificate , and told her she was not the child’s mother ! Omg are u serious !!! Crazy she turns people away and tells them no for a simple piercing with documents ! Also was hung up on and everything when we tried to explain to her she knows who her daughter is lol ! The lady’s name was Alex ! In stead of not getting her facts straight she banned my sister from coming there, called her a lair and no she wasn’t lying , she knows who her daughter is and had documents to support it ! The Boss here was extremely rude to my autistic mother. My mother was trying to tell her thank you for your help and for being nice to her and she took it the wrong way, refused to pierce my 9 yr old daughters ears on her birthday and told her co worker to not allow my mother in the store. She's a terrible person and this is discrimination against an autistic individual. Horrible horrible look on the company. Oh, and when I ask the younger girl working there the number to corporate, she was quick and rude with me. I was a little leery about going to Claire's or walmart to get daughters ears pierced. But after calling several tattoo shops in 3 stares we went to Claire's on KY Oaks Mall and I'm so happy we did!!! It was a Sunday and I forgot they close early. I literally called 8 minutes before closing to ask if they would do it and the young woman was more than inviting and said absolutely! They pierced both at the same time and we're super friendly and efficient!!! If the clerk at the Cape Mall had been this friendly we would have done it there in the first place. Thanks...
