I am INFURIATED. My 16yo daughter and her friend went to the Dillard's in Paducah, KY, tonight, to look at prom dresses and accessories. They were harassed from the moment they entered the store! An older associate kept following them around, asking them if they needed a dressing room. She then whispered to the other employees to follow them and they kept asking if they needed help or a dressing room...I'm talking every few minutes Then, she said, "Do you need a dressing room, you look underdressed." They were wearing tank tops and $150 jeans. Then the woman asked why my daughter kept sitting on a stool in the corner - my daughter has Ehler Danlos and gets joint pain and fatigue very easily. Even after explaining that, the woman continued to be rude. At one point she said, "You don't look like you would be shopping here." When my daughter asked what she meant by that, she said "You know what I mean." The girls complained to a manager who did apologize, but that is just not only ridiculous but HORRIBLE customer service, and I've been in customer service my whole life. I guess we will NOT be buying a prom dress there, and will tell everyone we know that unless you are dripping in diamonds and furs, don't...
Read moreThe mall was ok... honestly once you're spoiled to a big mall thats 2 stories like the mall of Louisiana for example or any decent size mall... you don't find smaller malls that satisfying. Everything I did have interest in they didn't have my size. Go figure.
The store is one of my favorites because I love hand bags and expensive designer shoes. However.... while I was shopping with my sister and we were stopping at the perfumes.... the representative was very rude and not helpful at all. She acted as if we looked like we didn't have money to spend so she wasn't wasting her time. Wearing the handbags we own, you would have thought she would have known we could afford to buy perfume obviously and would have been more helpful. She didn't smile one time and looked at us like we were flies in her drink. Perfume counter to the left when your entering from the mall. If you're leaving that store going into the mall she's on your right. Older lady. We were Christmas shopping and I haven't been to a mall since covid and was so excited. Her mood ruined it. They also didn't have my size in the shoes I like. I have big feet... but still. Woman with big feet want...
Read moreI went to the lingerie department at Dillard's in Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah KY. There was a framed photo of someone who was supposed be the expert in bra fitting. This was a good thing, as I have lost a considerable amount of weight in the last year and need to have a bra fitting. I rummaged around the bra section and eventually took several styles (guessing at my size) into the fitting room. None worked. After my second trip on my own to the dressing room, still with no assistance or with any luck in finding a bra that would work, I left. I was probably there 30 minutes and saw NO ONE WORKING THE FLOOR in that department the whole time I was there. Such a shame......I am in the market for new bras....and now it won't be...
