Well where should I start. The girls today were not friendly except for the blonde hair girl. They gave me my clothes back which is fine but 1 bag wasn't mine & I said "it's not mine" she said "um yes it is" I said "um NO its not" it was a small bag just a few items but I didn't want to take something that didn't belong to me & her correcting me, when I know my own clothing, was just rude!! She then said just put it here behind the counter & nothing else, we, my daughter & I walked off & got starred at, no thank you, no nothing. Maybe they wasn't having a good moment, or day or whatever but it was my first time in there & I told them a few times it was my first time being there & they didn't care & just didn't seem to care about any customer in there!! The customers in front of me they were rude to them also along with my daughter who had clothes as well & myself so with that being said my daughter & I won't be back & I'm sure ya'll don't care about that either because it's not gonna hurt your business with just us 2 or 3 customers. You definitely got a great business going but thought I would leave a review because those girls will ruin your business if they run it daily like they did today. I love Plato's so much that I want to give them a 1 star review so no one else will want to shop there and I can just come in and buy everything with no competition from other shoppers 😂 but that wouldn't be fair because they are an absolutely wonderful store and everyone should know about them! I can buy 10 things for $50. Sweaters, jeans, dresses!! I think I've bought almost all the dresses I own at Plato's. They have excellent sales and promotions and I've sold quite a bit of clothing to them and I never feel ripped off. The staff is super helpful, friendly, and they give great advice on outfits if you need it! Even my husband shops here, he often finds nice flannel shirts and t-shirts and men's jackets for remarkable prices! I honestly hate shopping for clothes but I could spend hours in Plato's and way too much money! Every time I leave I'm excited to see what they will have next time I come in, their inventory seems to change pretty quickly but in a good way. I love Plato’s Closet in Paducah. It’s an astoundingly well kept place (highly organized, always clean), with exceptionally pristine items for little to nothing. The family who owns and operates it are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. However, staff members do not treat me like a person. As of right now, they are scheduling appointments to sell clothes. I sent a message to set one up whenever available, and they ignored it meanwhile answering my boyfriend who sent one later on in the day. I was removed from the followers of the instagram, and have been given nothing but hateful looks and snide remarks when entering the establishment. I never left employment there abruptly, never trash talked the store, all I did was accept an offer for a better paying job and am no longer treated as a valued customer because of it.
