PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS STORE YOUR BUSINESS!!!!
Unfortunately, I will no longer be shopping at Bloomingdales in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
I recently purchased a Tag Heuer men's watch on-line and I went to the fine jewelry department to have my watch sized and some links removed. A sales person told me that my watch "had too much liability" and "nobody would do that here". I was told to go to a jewelry store in the mall so they can assist me. I had to pay another $30 to jeweler just to take out two links from my watch. If my watch had too much liability, then why would Bloomingdales sell it and then not provide decent customer service?
I asked for the corporate customer service number, but my request was refused by a sales person.
Please note while I was visiting family in Manhattan, in July 2021, We went to the Bloomingdale's on 5th ave and had an amazing customer service experience. I purchased a diamond Michele for my fiancé and they happily removed extra links for her. We were not told to leave the store because our purchase was "too much liability" or "go to a jeweler".
After my purchase of the Michele watch, I received 600 points towards another purchase, so I decided to buy a men's Gucci watch on-line. In one day, I returned the watch and had to wait over 60 min for a refund because "the watch was never logged into our system, so you have to wait for your refund". I think I counted three asset protection members watching me while I was just sitting for over an hour for a refund. I guess at Bloomindales, you only get good customer service if you are the right color of skin.
If I treated my patients in this manner, I would not have a practice.
If this is a high end store? and if so, Why do customers get treated this way?
I just hope others do not have to go through my horrible experience
I'm sure no one actually cares anymore how customers are treated, and that's a shame... Hopefully when I describe my experience on social media, Google and Yelp, someone won't make the mistakes I've made...

Read morewent in to buy a couple perfumes for family members for Christmas, the lady behind the counter ignored us and kept walking away when i went in her direction for assistance. i figured maybe she's not with that department and is doing something else so i just waited until someone came to help. after 20 mins i saw an older lady approach the fragrances after i had already been standing there, and the employee immediately assisted the older lady and kept giving me a dirty look. finally another lady approached us and said that she was only there to advertise a special perfume for the holidays but she could try to help us until carol the fragrance lady was done helping another customer. after another 30 mins carol had finished with her customer and the young lady helping us said, carol is done now so i'm sure she would be happy to help, we walked in carols direction which turned out to be the lady who was mean mugging us the whole time, and she continued to ignore us. we asked about a perfume she would recommend and she walked away. at the end of the day you cant judge someone based off their appearance especially since appearance does not equal wealth or what people have in their accounts or what they make, and regardless of money its impolite. i was there to buy two Chanel perfumes, the tiffany sheer, tom ford cherry, and which ever else i would have been recommended. I will never drive up to this Bloomingdales location again and i can promise you i will be spreading the word. tell carol she should be nicer especially during the holidays, and when she works in a department store where her job is to help and assist people, and not by what they wear or...
