Peepa's — Local services in Palm Springs

Was on a road trip between CA and AZ, we've been to this store before in the past. Stopped by and the family picked out a few things and the woman working was incredibly friendly (why I'm not giving this 1 star), after walking around a while one of my family members decided they wanted to go back and grab a couple other souvenirs. This time an older woman was behind the counter, they only have one register that accepts cash, she was audibly annoyed we were ready to pay while another woman she knew by first name was still in the dressing room trying on clothes, and she had to cancel the sale so we could check out. She kept making rude comments like it was a major inconvenience. Maybe utilize your other register for your regulars who pay with credit cards? It's crazy we were travelling for several days straight and encountered incredibly friendly people the entire time, but the last shop we visited we encountered the rudest person...

Really cool shop with one-of-a-kind items and art. We got a large print but the framed one I selected had a scratch on the glass so the staff got a new one from the back but that mat had a dent in the corner. The staff went back, got a new print and mat, put it into a new frame, and I was good to go. I really appreciated their patience and understanding - very friendly the whole time. They also bubble wrapped it for easy shipping back and it got home in our suitcase in perfect shape. We’ll be back next time we...

We dropped in on our first night in town and we’re smitten with all the unique items they have. We like to purchase artwork when we visit Palm Springs. My husband was taken with a couple of pieces, but they were too small for what we wanted. Niels was very helpful in arranging for the artist to deliver the pair in the size we were looking for. They are a perfect addition to our home. Everyone in the store was so extremely nice and helpful that we also purchase some additional items. Great place...
